Michelin just released the new Pilot Super Sport. That is what I am going with next. I still have the original PZero on front, but PS2 went on rear around 7500 miles. Super Sports all around when needed.

more ride comfort if you live in a pothole infested area. very quiet.

but high speed lane changes are sometimes kinda scary to be honest.

but for every day driving they and staight line performance they are great . that's what i just put in in the rear.

but next time i'm trying the superspot by michelin

I have the supersports on my car 245/275 on stock rims. Great tire lots of traction off the line and pretty good in the corners. They feel very similar to the PS2s I had on my old car. Just wish I could get wider ones on there. I was lured in by the 15000km warranty we'll see how we do.

It replaces the PS2. Actually it's closer to the sport cup.

according to michelinabout 10% better performance in every category plus a mileage warranty 30000 miles. 15 000 miles for the rears since you can't rotate them.

a little less costly than PS2 too.

check it out.

That's what's going on my C63 next time I need tires

the thing is there are many variables to tire wear issue of our cars. car itself, massive torque, and then stock Pzero tires. Im not sure if I replace them with PS2, tread wear will improve or not. I dont expect a significant improvement, but 8k miles is fine. I dont want to spend 700 on Pzero rear tires(include mount/balance) every 4k miles.
Should be doable.

I never turned a wheel with the Pzeros. Took delivery of my car on winter tires and wanted to go right to 275s on the rear after reading up on this forum.

Yeah the Hankook Evo V12 are surprisingly a very good set of tires for the C63 for the price you pay. And I think I should be getting another set for this year as I installed it in Oct 2010.

C65Canada: why do you say at high speed lane changes were scary at times? mind sharing your experiences?

Just got the Super Sports. They are quiet compared to the stock PZeros. Ride is a bit softer as well. Grip is about the same, really, around street use. Never tracked the PZeros so can't compare with the SS.
