Looks like the Bridgestone's are the best, putting up the fastest lap times with the lowest SD. What's the lifespan on these tyres?

IM using Goodyear F1's and they are by far much better than pirelli IMO in all aspects.

Actually the Yoko's while finishing third in the race actually have very similar numbers to the RE-11's. I see how I like my 11's and if not happy may swith over to the Yoko's. I always had them on my EVO and they were great tires.

How is the Bridgestone Potenza RE11 supposed to be positioned compared to the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A – more “high end performance tire” or positioned below the RE050A?

It was my understanding the 11's were replacing the 050A's and supposidly better. Time will tell on that though.

My pirelli IMO have performed quite well and i saw no point in removing them or exchanging them for others.

The RE11s are definitely positioned above the RE050A Pole Positions. There are several versions of the RE050A, and the PPs are the high end version comparable to the PS2s and PZeros. I am currently running the RE050A PPs, and will be trying the RE11s the next time around especially since they have more sizes available for 19" wheels.

The RE11s I would say are positioned between the high performance street tires like the PS2s, Pzeros, Advan Sports, and the R-compound tires like the Pilot Sport Cups and Pzero Corsas. They are becoming a very popular tire for auto-x, and I think from what I've been reading do not require as much heat to become sticky like r-compounds, making them the ideal track/street tire. Needless to say, I can't wait to try them.

Ah, hate to point this out but ANY r-type tire will require less heat to become stickyer, is this a word, as compared to ANY street tire. Sorry but its just a fact of tire life my friend. They are popular in the street tire catagory for autocross, but they are NO replacement for a r-tire.

Obviously an autocross r-type tire would require the least amount of heat, but they also wear out the fastest, by a HUGE margin.

See yeah
