I have it activated 2 weeks ago and it worked just fine and then it start loosing signal and now it stuck on "Acquiring Signal". Called Sirius Canada, they tried to reset something - nothing helped. Did system reset and again - no luck.

All other functions work just fine, GPS, AM/FM, CD,

Any ideas?

Wow, that does sound "serious".

Why not take it in to the dealership?

 

Yep, take it to the dealership. Could be a loose wire that caused intermittent signal and finally disconnected, resulting in the current total loss of service. Or could be that the tuner box failed and requires replacement.

I had that happen a few times but all i did was turn the car off, and then turn it back on and it acquired the signal.

 

That's exactly what happened to mine. Turned off for a bit and now it's working. Weird....

 

The problem is that my Sirius doesn't SOUND at all That what's serious about my Sirius.

 

If the service is as intermittent as that, I would definitely bring the car in. It's incumbent on the dealership to help resolve niggling issues like this, and I for one would not let them off the hook.

 

I think I've narrowed down problem to a harness going to sat in the trunk.... Signal was going in and out all day again

Yep. There are 2 or 3 harnesses under the headliner near antenna location. One of them went bad. Dealer replaced it and all good right now.

 

Better hurry and get it fixed. Howard only has 54 shows left before his contract expires.

 

I have the same issue and it worse on some channels and ok on some.. weird

 

Do you have more details? My dealer said they can't find any problem??
