Quote: Since I will probably never drive a 911 Turbo since my wife will kill me the day I buy one would anyone care to share what an ECU reprogram does to a 911 Turbo? What is the HP and Torque Increase from Stock?
The stock HP is 480. A chip alone will bring apx. 50 HP.

I'm considering the Fabspeed headers, high flow cats, mufflers + chip which should bring the HP just under 600. I was surprised to see how much HP they left on the table with the TT. Perhaps this was to help upsell the GT2...who knows.

Really Nice!

I was about to buy a 2009 Dark Silver and they didnt want to honor the deal. I would have loved to get the 911 but the catch was I was trading in my C63 and Audi S5 for that one.

Ouch...what did they offer you on the C63 trade? Maybe I don't want to know.

Glad you kept your C63 though! Interesiing that you also have an S5...great car...but an interesting combo.

Update on tt
Hi all. Just thought I'd update you guys/gals on my twin turbo progress.

With my C63, I did the KLEEMANN K2 package, nothing more, and nothing more is required IMO. It's a phenominal beast.

I just did a slew of mods for my twin turbo, bringing the 480 stock hp up to 650. But what I thought I'd share are some pics of interior mods that I've done. There are many trim pieces in the turbo, that were just begging to be painted in the exterior color. So everything in red you see has been painted (they were either aluminum or black). Got me to think about what interior painted pieces I could do in the C63, but did not come up with any ideas...anyone do trim besides CF in their C63's?

I still get a kick out of the fact that you had a 1980 Chevy Citation.

Good job on the interior, by the way.

Not a huge fan of the interior, very bold but if you like it then it's perfect.

The most I would've done is red seat belts/seatbelt housings, might've looked pretty cool just maybe.

^^^I appreciate your support, and it's always nice to hear positive feedback, so thank you.

I think if GENTANI does not like the trim pieces, that's ok.

I have a friend that would give almost anyone car envy. We're talking $M's in cars. He's not done 1 interior mod to any of them, and stated to me that he could care less about the interiors.

I'm still curious if anyone has done any interior trim pieces other than in CF. Doesn't seem as if that "sea of plastic" in our C63's is much accommodating. Maybe I'll ask my artistic brother to paint a mural on that gynormous dash

With software and exhaust the car becomes too fast for the street unless you live by the Autobahn. Check this out. This is just software and exhaust from APR

An ECU + exhaust will bring ~100hp from stock (to about 580hp).

"too fast for the street" -- sure, if you drive like you're on a track

Taylor you should try the sprint booster in the Porsche and Mercedes. Have you already heard about it? Feel free to email me, I have some in stock for you to try for 30 days. I just put the MT version in today for a 997TT and there is almost zero lag/delay in the throttle now.

Interesting. Since you are a sponsor, can you provide a link to the sprint booster?

Test drove a Cayenne GTS last weekend for my wife, what do you guys think? The ML63 is the same price, I think!

Oh, very motivated. Expect $10K - $20K off sticker depending on your geography and the car itself (ie. color, option list, etc.). It made used look a lot less attractive, and the '09s have upgraded PCM (which can be added to an '08, so no huge deal).

Good luck. I have no regrets.

I received a Cayenne S as a loaner when my tt was being modded. Thought very highly of the performance. My wife has an ML350 ('09). ML350 sticker was $54K and the Cayenne S was $72K. No way I'd pay the $20K difference.

However, comparing a GTS to an ML63, I'd go GTS. IMO, the GTS is more over-the-top (which is what one is attempting at this level, no?)
