My C63's New Best Friend
All:
As some of you may know, I purchased a 2006 C2S Cab about a month ago. I had it in for an oil change at the Porsche dealer, and lo and behold, a 2009 Porsche Twin Turbo (Guards Red) was strategically placed where I could not avoid the gaze.
Well...1 week later and many rounds of negotiation...C2S has moved on to another home and my C63 has a new garage buddy (pics attached).
Just in case anyone is considering a C2S over a Twin Turbo--if you can swing the TT...do it. OMG.
I personally can't think of a better pair of cars than the C63 and the TT for me. I've never felt so at peace with my cars where something else was not nagging at me to buy. As you can see from my car history, that's a big statement.
Cheers.

C63 09' LSD traded for 2010 GT-R
Now do a flash (APR, or others) on the TT's computer and really know what acceleration is.
My friends TT with re-program really flies, you will not regret it.
Better than uncorking the C63's computer...

Thanks all for the compliments.
Embarking on some mods for the TT...sigh...it never ends
Before I do, I plan to run my stock TT against my Kleemann K2 C63. I'll report back the results.

Since I will probably never drive a 911 Turbo since my wife will kill me the day I buy one would anyone care to share what an ECU reprogram does to a 911 Turbo? What is the HP and Torque Increase from Stock?

MBWorld Fanatic!
thank the lords of cobol that someone is nuttier than me with car buys!
I now have a 1050 Sprint ST bike and the C63 - and am more or less in gear head nirvana - I too, for the first time in years, don't feel I need another car. Nice ride btw - good call (though, I'd have gotten the invisible paint myself!)
