Nov 08 purchase with 4200 miles so far, but have another car I drive in snow/rain. With the summer here I suspect that I will put quite a few more miles on. Beast is getting new shoes next week along with oil change and good once over by the AMG tech at dealer so it will be ready for the summer!!
Funny about the F430 comments, my buddy and I were just talking about that same thing at lunch yesterday, our big concern was not the price of service, but parking it/dealing with a-holes that may key or ding it. I worry about that now with the C63, with a car that was $250,000 I would have to hire an armed guard to stand next to it whenever i parked it out in public.

End of May 2008 - today = ~3500 miles but I lost 4 months because of the winter and also the car isn't driven in the rain. I'll be driving much more this year though.

Everything is relative. To some guys buying a $70K car is like buying an expensive suit. How many of you guys know a Ferrari owner as his only car?

i drive my car to everywhere, the only exception is when its snowing. Whats the point of buying a car and leave it in the garage while it depreciates? Its just a car, its suppose to serve you, not the other way around.

Been reading this forever seems like but no post, until now. Was woundering what others have done on milage now I am glad you started this. Cool. Not sure how everyone does in milage but seems I got a lot more. I got the car to drive and BOY do I drive it too. At least 4 times per week I get it opened to about 150mph and seems a bit light. Need more power Seems will not stop till I get over 600HP (450-480BHP). My baby is about to get its first Birthday, May 1, Yes seems to be one of the first in SoCal if not in many areas. Yes did breakin and it took about 2 days. I hardly drive in "M" mode, seem to have to much fun stuck in "S" mode and ESP off when I feel the need, and the need is most all the time.
So as of today I have 29,482 miles 5 sets of Back tires original front tires. I run 275 rear stock front. Car completely stock. Needed to save money for gas and tires. Average about 19.1 MPG when I drive cruse control on freeway and up to a whopping 9.1 MPG city where I leave most of my tires inbetween stop lights. Car runs fine, have logged many many kills and never been killed. Regular manitinace all the time. TPS seems to turn on a lot but due to not having tread left, just cords. hehe I run now Eagle F1 All Season and have 4500 miles on this set and still lots of tread left. Seems good tire but some performace lost. Getting all carbon lip, diffisor, and spoiler (like the one on the BS). Have gotten with Brabas and will really look at getting thier C63 Bi-Turbo put under the hood. That will require (acording to them) a new power domes on the hood and more air flow also. Have almost finished in cad a new wider fender and door to allow 325 tires on the car to handle the extra HP along with the increased brakes to help stopping. Will post some before pics and some during pics as well as finished pics and vids.
Overall great car just needs more HP and better handling at high speeds car feels WAY TO LIGHT at 165+ its scary. I have never seen ANY other C63 on the roads here in SoCal, maybe they are hiding or I go to fast to see. hehe. Thanks for all the post on website they are great and you guys are great, so many good ideas and very informative people here. Hats off to all of you, you teach me a lot. Thanks.
