I'm not liking the wheels too much. The carbon fiber rear diffuser looks nice, but the carbon fiber oil vent covers look very tacky. The Red engine cover is also adding on to the tackyness.

Holy cow guys, easy on the harsh remarks, give him credit for spending money and time to try something different which many of us havent, the brabus air box is very unique....the carbon pieces are the same peices we've seen on other cars here, maybe the carbon pieces dont show well on the color or the pictures, but easy on him. I think those wheels look good, and the diffuser is a work of art. Good on you Mav for doing something different. BTW, any noticeable difference with the Brabus box?

I think that the front wheels look exactly the same as the rear ones (offset wise) Aren't they supposed to be different? The HRE site shows front and rear wheels and they do look different. I thought the rear ones must be more concave then the front ones.

Styling mods are very subjective... what one may like, another may find less-than-ideal. I, for one, like Maverick's mods. I think it will all be tied together more cohesively if he decides to lower the stance a bit. FWIW, red engine bay accents are a Brabus hallmark - due to their reputation, many find a red engine bay to be "drool-worthy"

Does anyone know how much the Brabus air box cost?
Overall the car looks good, but the CF pieces just don’t seem right with that color, which is why I think other people have made those harsh remarks... But Mav's car is truly unique! Nicely done IMO.

I agree with you; he has spent money and time trying something different. But these comments aren't meant to be harsh, forums are meant for open criticism. These are some peoples honest opinions, and I feel thats is most important when it comes to anyones views, regardless of how harsh the remarks are. The wheels and the carbon fiber on the front bumper look out of place, and regardless of being the first to do it, or the amount of money you spent on it, they'll still look out of place.

Hang on....is this comment meant for Maverick? He hasn't made any complaints about what's been said on this thread about his mods. You'll find he's one of the more sensible, level-headed forum members here and that comments good or bad will very likely be received by him with objectivity.
