Door pins are def crap...I got CF ones.

Next annoying thing are the WARNING yellow painted-on stickers we have on our sun visors. Anyone know a way to dye these things black or a place that would do this?

Take a hairdryer to them the glue will loosen and they will peal right off. Any excess glue can easily be removed.

yea back wen i had my M3 i got a corner and just started peeling and it came right off. U just need to get that edge.

As for the C63, if i remember correctly, the visor is a cloth material and wont be as easy since u wont be able to use any tools like goo-gone or other liquids.

Thanks PatSC23 for the ebay link but wouldn't the value of the car drop since it would be considered as modded? I know the MBZ is usually very particular about modding.

in the event that u are serious - modding a leased car is not a big deal, just reverse them all when you are done -

everything on a car can be removed and put back to OEM - just keep your parts

can anyone confirm screwing out the pins? I tried (didnt use much pressure bc i didnt want to break them) but they didnt come out easily - i just want to be sure before using more force -

and 3.7 cm would be the correct size?

I had my pins changed last week to Brabus chrome ones by CEC in Miami. I did not watch them do it but they told me that the fronts just screwed out and in. The rears they struggled with a little, becuase they had to take the door panels off and the pins did not come with directions. Apparently either it was the first C63 they did or the kit was different then previous ones. But they did a great job. It makes a hugh difference. Even just the sound they make when the doors autolock is very satisfying.

yeah, rears will require some custom work to be done. There are no plug and play rears out.

How did you install these so that they work properly? I just issued a new post explaining my difficulty with installing these exact same pins. The pins a too large to work with the existing surrounds and the new surrounds look like crap when installed with the new pins. Any advise would be helpful. Check out my new post regarding my trouble with this issue.

Those should be the part numbers for OEM 204 metal surrounds. Your best option as none of the ones on ebay are angled. You can leave them as is, or polish, or chrome them as you wish.

As directed in another thread, I went ahead told my dealer to order a pair of these (part #A1237660022). At $6 total I cannot complain. When in the locked position it is more or less flush with the doors, and installation took a few minutes with pliers and an old t-shirt.
