Brembo makes A LOT of OEM brakes. There is a significant difference from Brembo aftermarket and OEM however. My Toyota Tacoma also has Brembo brakes from the factory. If you look on the inside of the calipers, you can usually see the Brembo logo even on Toyota's and such.

They are Brembo, but nothing special or nothing to right home about. They certainly aren't these:

Actually, the compound front brakes of the Performance Package are very, very similar to those.

Probably, however aftermarket Brembo Monoblock are a whole different animal than anything you'll ever see from the factory, unless we are talking true super car brakes. I checked on prices for 6 piston racing monoblocks a few years ago for a VW GTI R32 and it was like $7K just for the front calipers. 8 piston calipers cost as much if not more than the whole PP option just for the fronts. LOL

Then again, the chances of ever needing racing monoblocks on a C63 are slim to none. The stockers even non-PP cars are sufficient for most of us.

Here's Brembo GT brakes for an SL. $4300.00 on Ebay for just the front and they are only 6 piston replacements.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/405MM...ht_2327wt_1662

Full blown 8 piston monoblock racing brakes are probably between $8.5K-$9K for just the fronts. Add another $5K for rear brakes.

You mean something like these 8 pistons Brembos? This guy was asking $10k for these but they were not for MBs.

According to Azn's outsourcing list, they should be brembo monoblocks. They certainly look about the same as his white Granturismos, asides the rotors of course.

Makes you wonder, you should be able to buy brembo 2pc rotors for both front and back instead of OEM PP rotors and evosport rears and who knows, they might even be cheaper.

I don’t understand, for all that money you put into a regular C-class (because I am sure if you buy a 6k braking system you will do much more modding) wouldn’t you rather have a stock C63?? It seems pointless to put brakes like that on a C350 when the car doesn’t even perform fast enough to even need that braking system... Besides that point it just seems ironic...
