p.s. Tysons Corner (HBL) asked for $2000 non-refundable deposit and will only sell at MSRP so I said screw them. (do a Google map search and you will see they got TONS of negative reviews.)

how much of a difference is there between MSRP and invoice? Are we talking about 10 - 12 % or 6-8% or so?
I am being offered 6-7% off of MSRP whatever that comes out be with the options I want. Do you think that is too much? I would rather deal with local MB dealer if the difference is not too great...

Just go to Edmunds.com and use their New car search, and you will see all the MSRP, invoice, and average reported sale prices. Based on MY2009 data for my configuration, MSRP is $71820 vs invoice of $66854 (before the $2100 gas tax) which is 7% off.

p.s. I was just told that I can't get military sales discount of 10% because I am not station or TDY to Germany .
p.s.s. I have yet to found a way to go beyond invoice price for a new MY2010 order (other than military discount of course.)
