RaceMesh Grilles installed
Looks excellent! I'm a long-time member over at crossfireforum.org, and we've been trying to find a company willing to create a decent mesh grille for the front to replace the 'minivan' grille we were cursed with from the factory. I'm going to contact Mike and see if he'd be willing to run some prototypes. The C63 grille is very similar in shape to the Crossfire grille, so who knows... might have some luck!
Again, great look on the 2nd fitment...

The straight racemesh would be a bit much for me...I'm looking at having the EPSS built into the OEM grille...problem is, for what it costs, I'm not sure it would show much...it will give it a good look, but it will end up costing somewhere around $800 just for the upper (as the OEM grille is $500+ alone).

I saw that you said "easy install" in your first post. From what I've read, replacing the lower grille requires removing the bumper, and with that, it becomes quite complex. Was it easy because you are good at this sort of thing, or easy because others are making it sound hard?

Michael has asked for detailed pics to try and rework the upper grille to match the lowers...anybody want to take their 63 over for him to have a closer look at?
I agree it looks a little awkward with the lower not matching upper, although with the chrome already on the OEM grille, it won't clash that much.

Drilled double, 1/4" holes about 1/4" apart in 3 corners. Hand set the mesh first and marked my spots to match a good spot on the mesh. Drill carefully. Plastic is soft and very thin. Zip away

Should have read your post just a tad bit closer...I gave an under-my-breath "F-U" when I started to drill, because the OEM plastic nearly popped out on the bottom left...I had to hold it with pliers in the other holes I drilled to continue...I was also worried about what was behind there...I swear, I punched through one hole, and heard a Psssssh! Oh well, everything seems operational, until I turn on my headlight washers I'm sure

Anyway, you were right...very soft...but worked fine. I'll post some pics...really like it on the black with the smoked out side-markers...after putting it on though, my wifey gave me the green light for the rest of the OEM upper grille...she thinks it'll look better (that is better than a kitchen pass, since we're talking $400 plus shipping my grille in).
Thanks for sharing your post...made the decision for me.
Here are some pics installed...I'm happy with the work, and think I'll racemesh the black insets in the OEM grille...that will really round out the front and make it look smooth (but not overdone, since it won't be the entire front like some cars--uh-hum, Caddy).
but of course...at least they are plastic and wipe easy...but even better than the dirty/dusty back of the seat is the perfectly shiny car all-around, except the little finger prints just below the window on his back right door where he closes it...classic.
