Delighted with my clear bra installation
First, I want to thank the members of this board for the outstanding advice both before and after my purchase of my C63. You're a great community, and now I want to contribute. I also want to state that I am not in any way affiliated with Premier Protective Film, just a very happy customer.
I enjoy driving my cars, and my last car collected a "road rash" of paint chips all over the front. Having just purchased a black C63 (of course I love it), I decided that I would protect it before it begins to collect chips. This is especially critical for the MB dark colors, as the factory undercoat is white, causing chips on dark paint to really stand out. I'm very picky, so I searched a number of car forums looking for the best solution. I kept coming across very positive reviews for Premier Protective Films's installation of a clear bra. I even contacted some of the reviewers directly, and they raved over the quality of the job. It turns out that dark colors, and especially black, shows everything, so it's essential to install the film correctly.
Anyway, I found out that Premier is currently located in Fremont, CA (they're working on opening another location in Southern California soon). I'm currently living in Santa Barbara, but I read that they occasionally make trips to service those of us who aren't local. I contacted them and it turned out that they were making a trip down through San Diego soon. I arranged a date and decided to install protection on the following:
Custom full hood
Custom full front fenders
Custom front bumper
Rocker panels
Inner front and rear wheel arches
Mirrors
Headlamps
Foglamps
They appeared on time (7:00AM) and started to work immediately in my garage. The work took most of the day for two of their most experienced installers, and let me tell you, these guys work so hard I really felt I was getting my money's worth. I was glad that I took the day off to watch them at work. See the attached pictures.
These guys are among the nicest and most professional people I have ever met. I'm so glad that I chose Premier. They are true artists, and my C63 looks fantastic! I can now enjoy my road trips and not worry about possible damage to the paint,
If any of you drop by Santa Barbara, you're welcome to arrange a time to come by and see their work.

Looks great! Premier did my full wrap too. Great people to work with and their customer service is excellent. Always ready to answer any questions. Custom wrap is definitely the way to go instead of those precut kits. When you get that ugly line running across your hood when dirty....yeah...
They changed the stickers in MY09. You can't get the old white signature ones anymore from dealership.

PF1 PRODUCTS: "Uncompromising Aesthetics and Protection"
Traditionally, plastic cleaners were the main source for cleaning paint protection film. However, these products were never designed specifically for clear bras. Chemicals within plastic cleaners can actually be harmful to the film if left on for an extended period of time. Certain propellants within aerosol canisters are responsible for excessively drying out the pores of the clear bra, which then leaves them open to the elements and yellowing.
PF1 Film Cleanse is a non-aerosol product that is designed specifically for the acrylic clear coat of today’s paint protection film. The clear coat on clear bras are very different from the clear coat on cars’ paint today, which is why Premier in early 2008 set out to develop a product that can properly clean paint protection film. The product will not dry out the pores of the film and does not carry any type of polish that can abrade the film. Film Cleanse is a deep cleaner with acrylic resins designed to lift the dirt off the film before cleaning / wiping. The product not only deep cleans, but it also does not strip the film of protective sealants and waxes. 16 oz bottle - $20
Crystalline - To properly protect the paint protection film on your car, Crystalline is your solution. Our chemists were directed to create the world’s first nano bonding sealer for all types of paint protection film. Not only does PF1 Crystalline assist in protecting your investment on the clear bra, but it also provides added depth to the film that has never been accomplished before. The product does not contain any dyes that can potentially yellow the clear bra. The design of the nano crystals within Crystalline will bond with the acrylic clear coat of your paint protection film providing a long-lasting protective coating that also adds a deep shine and gloss to your investment. Cure time for Crystalline is only 15 minutes vs. some paint sealants to take up to 8 hours to cure. Once the crystals bond to the pores of the film’s clear coat, removal of the residue is easy and does not flake to a powdery form. 16 oz bottle - $58 (lasts approximately 8-12 months).
PF1 Film Cleanse and PF1 Crystalline are the only products approved by Premier to not harm the paint protection film on your vehicle.

No one seem to care how much it cost. Can you tell us how much it cost to do your clear coat?, if it was $5000 then I rather paint my car 10 times over and over but it it was $400-$500 maybe I would do it.
Here is my reference, I was given an estimated of $750 for all the components that you mentioned on your list. My source is the specialist on Broadway Tucson, AZ.
Price is the number one thing we should discuss here.
