Nexen N3000... :y
After hearing about the nexen's and the price I decided to give them a try. just installed yesterday. The price for both fronts all in was $255.
The tire looks greats, rides smooth, and it quite. So far so good. hhughs good look for all of us.
Where you able to get the rears in XL or did you just run the 275-35's with the regular load rating...?

you better watch out...
with the power of the c63.... u'll be sliding around.
The good thing is they seriously don't wear at all though ><
Had them on my evo, and they didn't wear at all, but they wouldn't grip at all >< ><
Even after 2 track days, they still looked brand new!

I went to a local shop. Found them on the net for $97 each but then had to ship and still pay to put them on the car. This was just easier and even if it was $300 it was better then $500.
As for the grip so far so good. I have not tracked them but pushed agressviely on and off the freeways and I'm still here... We'll just have to wait and see.

Did you try Conti 3? I had them on my wife's cls ad I was a fan of that tyre (for a four door, heavy, rwd) Specially in wet conditions! Super, of course I was thinking safety first, because it was my wife's car ![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)

Just put on 265/35 in the rear and they feel like plastic. Don't know if it was the cold weather or I needed to "break" them in. But when I did hard turns, the traction control would come on when before with the stock tires it wouldn't activate the traction control. Ride seems a little rougher than stock also. Will post further review when I log more miles on them.

Curious to hear more about these tires, specifically the noise after broken in.
Kumhos are awfully, awfully loud, to the point of an annoying drone, wonder how these hold up.

they're fairly noisy, noisier than stock i would say. but i either drown it out with the radio or the sweet symphonic tune of the exhaust. If you want performance, these tires are out of the question. if you want a tire that will last 15,000 miles, then these are the tires for you.
I plan to change these out after my stock front wears out.

In other countries which tires comes with stock?
In Japan it came with Advan Sports and this tire is really good! It grips very well. Im running 8900km right now but its still OK. But maybe soon I need new tire.
Myself I like Advan Sports, Advan Neova and Michilen Pilot Sport Cup.

In Australia, stock tires are pirelli pzero.
The ones on the car at home is on the tread limiter and its only travelled 7500km... *cries*
Planning to go for the kumho ku31 next.
Have them on my evo as a daily tire and can't really hear a thing lolz (maybe the car's other noises drones it out!)
But even on the Merc, i can't really see it being 'too' noisy.
If the window is down, then the exhaust will cover it
If the window is up, then i'd assume the merc's sound insulation will cut out most of it right??

For San Diego folks, Bear Tire in Miramar sells these (http://www.bearstires.com). I got all four installed on my E55 for $508 out the door. In and out in 1/2 hour.
Tires lost grip the first time I hit the street, but I think that was due to the grease coating on the rubber. Ride home (~20 miles) was just fine. Surprised how quiet they were compared to my old Eagle GS-Ts.

Just bought these. Will have them installed tomorrow. Got them for 200 with install. Need cheap tires because getting rims installed in couple of months so didn't want to waste money on tires that I'm not going to fully destroy

I retract my initial comments on these tires. After a few months on these tires, they are actually pretty good tires. :O I guess they have to be broken in before it gets "sticky"
They are not grippier than stock, but they are very good tires for street use. The plus side is that they are barely worn out. I've driven them harder than I have with the stocks and they still have plenty of meat left after 5k miles.

2013 Chevy 427 Torch Red
I have a pair 275/35 in my garage with ~5000 miles on them and they are like new. I ran an 11.99 with these with a K2 setup so they stick great for street tires but not like DR's. They will probably go back on for a while after track season ends.
