Mind you, this is a generalization. There are obviously great members that contribute quite a bit.
I find the older the fan-base (read...more expensive the car), the more reasonable they seem to be, and are less prone to testosterone driven outbursts...
Whats actually pretty funny is they don't realize many C63 owners are former E46 M3 owners, with many of this being our first MB. The thing I started to realize is the M3 ,especially after the fire sale the BMW dealers had with the 08 leftover, became much much easier for the average say G35 owner to afford with those ridiculously low lease deals, balloon financing options, and pricing BELOW invoice.

Dude, you definitely have a better reaction time than I do! Good thing I have 2 extra liters!! LOLs. Thanks again for the vid work.

Also, for those with Porsche envy, you really need to watch the whole thing for the surprise-ish ending.

You go FI, and I'll have to go nitrous for the round after... LOLs. Watch us both calling AAA for flatbeds to the dealer that day. ROFL!

Great vids, thanks for taking the time to post them up and make some runs. The M3 hung in there pretty good for going up against a fairly tuned C63.

Do you happen to have any videos of your modded M3 vs stock M3? Thanks!

What video is the Gustav one? I saw the M5board race where the M3 DCT completely walked the C63 which seems unbelievable. At best the M3 DCT (stock) should be able to just hang with a C63 from start to finish.

And this is why the C63 should have had a dual clutch tranny. Each shift is 150-200 milliseconds faster so up to 100-120 mph dual clutch tranny should shave off .5-.6 seconds off the M3 which would equate to quite a few car lengths.

Yeah, the M3 wasn't a slacker at all. He said removing the rear seats and stuff in the trunk was probably 65-75lbs, and we actually had mostly matching motor mods: Chip, pulley, airbox and some exhaust work. How those mods affect the car, though, well... that's a different story.

Appreciate the props!

C63_guy, Josh is a great guy, I lost plain and simple, but I think if it was a 6mt M3 it would have been a slaughter. I also now know for a fact that equally modded you guys are right the C63 will always win, I'm pretty sure I'd take a stock one, and run about even wtih a lightly modded one.

On the other M3's I've ran, here's a run against my friends 6mt, I do have more mods.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4BCiOUHrLQ

Here's a run against my friends E90 M3 that made 398whp.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0ei80v6KQk

Here's a run against another DCT, as you can see from this its the DCT that is the real advantage with this car IMHO. I did better in the 2nd run.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJimMzHjPTw

But I am running heads up with modded M5's up to 130ish, so IMHO the C63 did very well, but I'm no expert on how they should do with 470whp, but I have seen the mid 11's at 120+ traps.

I also ran my buddies HPF turbocharged E46 M3, he's at around 430 WHP in pump mode and about 640whp in race mode, I ran him while he was in pump mode 6psi, in race mode it's a silly comparo, lol, here's the vid.

J, there is nothing I can do NA to run with you lol, removing the seats was a feeble and desperate attempt to close the gap, lmao. Appreciate the props Bro!

DLSJ5,

I really enjoyed your videos. Thank you. A good friend of mine has an E92 M3 with DCT. It has all the AA bolt ons (software, filter, pulley, x pipe with no cats and exhaust). I've driven it numerous times and I've really enjoyed it. I would expect it to take a STOCK C63 but not a similarly modded C63. I have driven a couple of 63 cars (sl63, ml63,s63) but have not yet had the pleasure of driving a C63. I know it wouldn't be a fair race but I would love to see your car vs. a stock C63. It's been mentioned before by others but the C63 is the first MB that I (as a S54 fan) have had a serious interest in. Impressive car..

P.s. You mentioned interest in a supercharger. I had the pleasure of getting a passenger ride in the AA E90 supercharged prototype car... If you have traction issues now, wait till you get supercharged...

Thanks man, I have been trying to find a stock C63 or one that has far less mods than C63 guy, lol, at least one without the headers, that seems to be the biggest gain. Hopefully I can find one soon as I'm interested in seeing the results as well.

No doubt traction will be a problem with FI! I agree with you as well the C63 is a very attractive car, I never had interest in owning an AMG, but that car I would love to own.

A tune only C63 would be a good run for you... I'd be afraid to bet on the results though... Love to see it...

Sweet, do you know how many hp the M3 has with the supercharger?

Is the M3 pulling at the end or the C63 braking?

LOL!

I'd run him anytime...even though I am fully aware that I'd get killed....just for the pure fun of it. Heck, I'm still waiting for a chance to go SebringSilver's stock one....lol.

There isn't much for modding potential on the F...although there are a few guys with slightly quicker ones.

Stage 3 C63 has 468whp, the SC'd E92 M3 is around 440whp, not sure at the end, Josh would have to chime in on that.

Do you use clublexus at all? I think I've seen a thread where people are easily getting 400 whp for the IS-F with just bolt ons.
