AMG & RR
IMO keep the insides of your C63 stock but if you want Vath to touch it you'll have to be in Europe or send it there. I suggest looking at Renntech or Carlsson for the best tune. Mercedes has approved those 2 so far to my knowlege. Not sure if Evosport is???

I could see that MB approves of Renntech since the founder worked for AMG and MB for many years before.

I received their price list before, but all in German, only one thing that I know they cost like gold, even more expensive than Carlsson

Thanks, I just love the looking of the car but for ECU tune I was really not sure of them. Here is price of theirs
1. Carbon Hood: $4958
2. Stage 1 ECU tune: $2533 (525hp)
3. Stage 2 ECU tune: $10,050 (565hp)
4. Catalytic converters: $2533
5. Steel Manifol: $4275
6. Full suspention kit: $3337
7. Carbon Rear Diffusor: $1675
They do have alot other parts. Just wanted what people think of them. Really want to do ECU tune. I already hit 250km limit couple time so I need to go faster.

Hi guys,
So am I right to assume that if you are going to have Vath modify your C63, you would have to ship it to Germany since it's only workshop is there? Are there any authorized dealers elsewhere?

No, speaking from first hand experienced they ship everything required anywhere in the world BUT you need to ship ECU to them in Germany. No dramas with that though, mine was turned around and back in my car in a week.

Maverick 1975: Hey man, thanks for your reply. But, even though they are shipping parts all over the world, without a reputable dealer/installer in Malaysia, I'm skeptical as to whether the parts installed would be installed correctly. On a different note, are the power gains as high as they claim? A dyno sheet of some sort/track time perhaps?
Thinking of choosing between Vath or MHP, which ever's better. Then again, "better" is really subjective. Any ideas on the warranty for Vath's kits? I.e the usual 2 years parts warranty I'm guessing?

I would guess that MB has warranty language that specifically addresses whether they cover cars that have been tampered with in any way that deviates from the original design -- including aftermarket tune.
Carlsson, however, has some language on their website that may claim to cover your vehicle in conjunction with your manufacturer's warranty for 36 months for parts and 24 months for tune.
Regarding the 24 month coverage for tunes, I'm not sure if the coverage begins to run from the date of purchase and registering the car or date of registering the car with Carlsson.
I'm not sure about Renntech, however, I still would be surprised if MB's powertrain warranty would not be affected by an aftermarket tune, should the need for coverage arise.
That said, tunes can be flashed back to stock and so far I've heard from different vendors that MB can not tell if your ECU has been tuned (e.g., there are no markers left from changes in the tune).

None fast enough!
In the US, MBZ has never officially as a company approved any aftermarket company.
As for evosport, we sell our products through and are supported by many official Mercedes dealers in the US and abroad.
thanks
