Whose tires weren't breaking lose? Your or his? I'm utterly shocked his weren't breaking lose. What type setup is he running 325s??

lol, I didn't mind I was stoked Josh came down to do some fun comparo's to see where my car is currently, the results were to be expected. I got so used to beating or running with 997 and 996tt's in my Supercharged E46 M3, that I've been due for a good butt kicking, lol.

To me, it looks like the S/C'd M3 is the tiniest bit faster, but it's about as close as you can get in a rolling street race vid. Same with the vid of the 996TT - since the camera car falls behind quite a bit, it's really hard to tell if the C63 is pulling on the 996TT or vice versa... again, very very close.

Can't believe that SC M3 could not pull away

Josh (the s/c M3 owner) was pretty surprised himself in that video.
I'd like to see this take on the RDSport Strokers, although I'm pretty sure it'll end in the same result.

Stay tuned, I know Josh is doing more mods to his C63 and I will have my car running better by the time Mexico comes around...
My car put down 440 whp vs Josh's Beast at 470whp.
We will get more friendly runs soon, stay tuned fellas.

what it gets me is about the M-3 complaining about "not been in the power band", off course it is not on the power band nor it would ever be. 295lb-tq wouldn't get youy in no power band buddy!! that is the way it is.
It is a give and take situation, just like the big turbo cars have lag but then they give you a kick in the pants, the supercharger adds power but also robs power, the M-3 simply has no torque and that is it.
Had these two cars floored to the ground in traffic situation and the C63 AMG would had pull like 2 cars instantly. There is a reason why I did not purchased the M-3, its lack of torque.
