I'm a little confused, in the description it says the C63 pushes about 470 whp while the M3 only does 370 whp. Even 100 more whp the C63 only pulls slowly from the M3, I thought that kind of horsepower deficit would be more noticable at those higher speeds. And 470 whp equates to around 580 at the crank, how did you manage to achieve +130 hp at the crank with just those mods.

Nice vids - that thing sounds sick - I'm sure the throttle blipped downshifts are wicked.
Is this C63 getting a widebody ??? Please tell us more...

Great to see these videos again. So, if the AMG did not have the headers or intake, tune only, would it be more of an even match with the tuned M3?

Simon,
Is the wide body going to be a kit or just a one off? I am sure it will look great. What size tires are you trying to sqeeze under it? 315's or 325's ?
We are currently setting the car up for the "1 Mile Run" and would like some company. You interested in tracking across the US and running with us the end of September in NC? Should be fun!
God Bless,
Keith

Pretty easy assumption here. Since your a C63 owner you know how easily it is to break the tires loose in 1st and 2nd gears due to the tremendous torque. Now factor in how much torque this car has over a stock car and compare that to the M3 which is probably making little over 300 lbs/ft with the mods. With that being said the C63 tires must been breaking loose so much it gave the M3 (which probably had some wheel spin but not nearly as much as the C63) time to stay in the race until the C63 hooked up. Plus remember this isn't a Gustav video where there going down a runway its some highway in "Mexico". These are just my assumptions.
