The lesson to be learned from this is not so much not 'turning tc off', but realizing it might be a good idea if you own a performance car, it might be a good idea to improve your car control skills.
Don't be too hard on yourself, it might have happened with or without tc. But you have to remember that your right foot is in control of ~500hp.
I instruct for several car clubs and the first thing I do with beginners is take the tc off and have them go for it, and see if they have any skills. The guys with the biggest egos, usually are the most hopeless. But if I can get them to leave the ego in the parking lot, they actually learn something.
Have fun and be safe...

Agreed! I sell um. I always recommend people to test breaking in empty lots in dry, icy, and wet condtions. You should know your car like an extention of you before you try anything silly. I know its hard to resist givin it but take the time to get to know the car. You and others will be much safer for it
Look at it this way.... you learnt a great lesson and knowone is hurt.
Safe driving bro!

This should put paid to any doubt that the C63 is truly a driver's car.
Didn't Richard Hammond go on a rant to say that "the greatest thing in your life is that you can get out of that thing alive", in respect to the C63?
Seriously, glad no one was hurt. Hope everything gets fixed soon.
