MHP Long tube headers are here!!!!
Those numbers are awesome, congrats! Any idea what kind of numbers she'd run on pump?Josh
dont sit there tying to tell me the tune is no good b/c i got beat by a e55. why dont you go race a e55 with you stock car and see what happens.
fine, if you post a video (please post a properly recorded race) of your car smohtering a stock C63, I'll gladly stfu and consider MHP as a future ECU tune for myself. But please have equal number of passengers and everything so there's no excuses.
its not necessary and is a waste of money in a street or street/strip car. there will always be underhood heat, and the real reason for coating headers was to smooth over rough welds. with todays welding tecknology and a skilled TIG welder the welds need no smothing over. it's really just an unecesary expense for performance gains or longevity of the header. quality uncoated SS headers will outlast the car they're installed on 10 times over. come by tomorrow having a party ...... Mike.
so i asked MHP is they can JET coat it, he said sure why not but it will cost more. so i said F it ill get them non jet coated. ill take my friend words for it.
BTW my friend own/ and works at a shop passed down from his grandpa to his pops to him so i think they know what they talking about.
Don't be hatin' the MHP v3 tune. I've got one and I'm a very happy customer and I plan on purchasing the long tubes.
If you don't like MHP, you are entitled to your own opinion. However, until you purchase a MHP tune, you have no right to bash their products.
What other proof does a person need besides dyno results and verified drag strip times??

I know thats slower than before but the weather was horrible tonight. I think in good weather it will run low 11's. Thank you MHP for a job well done!! So far so good!!

that it something 11.6 in 2000da
hey if you can get to atco or M.I.R in nov or dec you might just be in the high 10's anyway congrats to you and you car thats something special you got there. keep up the good work on breaking c63 records.

it would be helpful to know the da on his run with the mkb headers.
high 10's is posible.
For those of you that don't drag race. Its been my experience in a street car like this every 10 degrees is worth a tenth. If you ignore the DA and just use the temps I believe the 11.69 in 50 degree weather will be worth at least an 11.3 or better. Like jturkel said its all debate and we won't know until the weather breaks here in Florida or until I can make it somewhere north. Just believe me, the car is much faster.

And lol at people going omg you ran slower. Its drag racing, other than the car, there are about 50 factors that come into play! Many of which mother nature has control over.

The car sounds incredible first hand with lots of torque in the bottom of the band.
