I'm sure the 100 octane didn't hurt either. Those numbers are awesome, congrats! Any idea what kind of numbers she'd run on pump?

fine, if you post a video (please post a properly recorded race) of your car smohtering a stock C63, I'll gladly stfu and consider MHP as a future ECU tune for myself. But please have equal number of passengers and everything so there's no excuses.

i was thinking the samething before i ordered my set. then i asked a friend and he toled me this. heres is the original email he sent me.

its not necessary and is a waste of money in a street or street/strip car. there will always be underhood heat, and the real reason for coating headers was to smooth over rough welds. with todays welding tecknology and a skilled TIG welder the welds need no smothing over. it's really just an unecesary expense for performance gains or longevity of the header. quality uncoated SS headers will outlast the car they're installed on 10 times over. come by tomorrow having a party ...... Mike.

so i asked MHP is they can JET coat it, he said sure why not but it will cost more. so i said F it ill get them non jet coated. ill take my friend words for it.

BTW my friend own/ and works at a shop passed down from his grandpa to his pops to him so i think they know what they talking about.

Don't be hatin'

lyo---

Don't be hatin' the MHP v3 tune. I've got one and I'm a very happy customer and I plan on purchasing the long tubes.

If you don't like MHP, you are entitled to your own opinion. However, until you purchase a MHP tune, you have no right to bash their products.

What other proof does a person need besides dyno results and verified drag strip times??

Here's a couple of installed completed pics. Very easy and exceptionally well done. The installer, Larry Macedo said they were one of the best quality headers he's ever seen as far as the fit and finish and the results prove the engineering.

Track updates!! First time back out and I'm stoked!

Ran in Orlando Speed World in 88 degree weather with about a 2000da.

Ran 11.692 @ 118.82mph
60' was 1.751

Will post the video as soon as Howard gets its up.
I know thats slower than before but the weather was horrible tonight. I think in good weather it will run low 11's. Thank you MHP for a job well done!! So far so good!!

3mph difference is a lot, even if it is in hot weather. Hopefully it is the weather.

lol, lets be realistic. 11.6 in only 2000ft da is a LOOONG ways away from high 10's. he'll need more than a 4000ft swing in da to think about coming close and mir isn't even capable of that.

it would be helpful to know the da on his run with the mkb headers.

guys, it's not worth arguing racing at the dragstrip with Mike. I guarantee that none of you have nearly as quick a car or have as much experience as him. debate is futile.

Video will be up later but I can tell you that almost every car that I am familiar with ran 3-6 mph slower than typical winter runs. This track is also not prepped at all like Bradenton does for Supercar Shootout where Keith ran his highest traps. Vinny's E55 which is an 11.2 /125mph monster could only trap 120 in last night's conditions.

Good Morning,
For those of you that don't drag race. Its been my experience in a street car like this every 10 degrees is worth a tenth. If you ignore the DA and just use the temps I believe the 11.69 in 50 degree weather will be worth at least an 11.3 or better. Like jturkel said its all debate and we won't know until the weather breaks here in Florida or until I can make it somewhere north. Just believe me, the car is much faster.

+1

And lol at people going omg you ran slower. Its drag racing, other than the car, there are about 50 factors that come into play! Many of which mother nature has control over.

According to Dragtimes.com the DA was 2248. Corrected the time is 11.385 @ 122.096mph. That just brings it down to sea level. Then factor in the temperature and we are now in the low 11's. I KNOW we will have to prove it but at least this is a good sign of potential performance. We'll do our best to prove its correct. Have fun and be safe!!!!!!!!

Keith and Vinny last night:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6cAsLd36mE

Vinny's car in the (Florida) winter:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RY16gDwBhSg

The car sounds incredible first hand with lots of torque in the bottom of the band.

Is there a better run out there than what is listed on dragtimes? If not then the E55 in the video might be nearly as quick seeing he is 2 positions higher than Mike.
