My brother is a car salesman in MO and I just wanted to pass along a word of caution on these last few 09 C63s out there. Some dealers use one car to do test drives and some of the cars still out there may have a few hundred miles on them.
Some dealers also statistically mark the cars as sold (to make their numbers) and then depreciate them for every month they sit on the lot. You buy a new car with a 45 or 46 months warranty instead of 48 when you buy this car. May not be a big deal to many, but some may want to ask a question or two for these dealers selling cars in the $14K off MSRP range for these last few.

Alrighty, thanks to the forum members I was able to find the car that I want with a few compromises such as a beige interior w/ walnut trim, and Teleaid.

Thanks! My car had 165 miles on it and dealer told me the car was marked as sold, but he also told me he went back and restated the service date as the date I got the car. So I still have the original warranty period. Do you know where I can check the date? now I worried a bit...

Porsche gt3, Porsche cayenne turbo
still looking for car but getting very hard to find ones w/ performance package. Wanted capri blue but will settle for silver. The window sticker on this car should be right around $70k. I dont need carbon pacvkage or i pod or teleaid. EWith that in mind w/ the 12k to14.5k off which seems to be the standard hope i can find one!

i had the same concern and picked up my c63 this am. i called the service dept of two different mb dealerships, gave them the vin#, and asked for them to check the in-service dates. both complied easily and my fears were lifted as my car's warranty was not punched.

The options on the car should have pushed the MSRP over $70K. The Perf Pkg alone is $4K extra over my car which had all of the other options you listed. Something doesn't look right.

For anyone still in the market, I can confirm a few things after speaking to no less than 10 dealers today.
- there are still a dozen or so 09 C63 AMGs available in typical specs... P2, AMG leather, multimedia, etc.
- the heavy discounts definitely go away on Monday, thats it
- through Monday, I found several dealers willing to do $15k off MSRP. With my additional USAA/military discount $1k = total of $16k off MSRP
Still hung up about this car not having LSD, but figure that I can add that for $2k later if I really find that I want it...

I think most ppl will tell you that an LSD is a necessity if you track your C63 regularly; otherwise, it's not needed for DD (and even for the occasional run at the 1/4 mi. track 
).

If the money does run out Monday there will be more to come. They have way to many cars out there that the deals do not want mercedes leased 30 more acreas to hold the cars that were coming in. I wouldn't be to concerned about rushing to buy by Monday I am going to find the right car

Strictly my opinion of course. I really grilled many many dealers on this point and they all had the same answer independently...the money is gone Monday. Of course, there probably will still be something, but I dont think that you will see $15k off after Monday.

The other stealer had an iridium silver one, and offered it up at 56,375 and I offered 55,700 OTD but the car was already sold.
To any of you euro car buyers....how long did it take to sign the paperwork and get out? I hate when I spend half a day at the dealership....
