I want to help someone get their C63

All:

As I previously posted, the C63's are enjoying a $7,500 MB gift. That means, MB pays the dealer $7,500 for all C63's sold for at least through July, probably into August. If you're not aware of this, the dealer can take some or all that $7,500, which is why I alerted everyone in that recent prior post.

So, that means, take your MSRP, subtract $7,500, and then start your negotiation. In a recent prior thread, there is some discussion about this.

I'm friends with my MB dealership (purchased way too many cars from them recently). My sales associate (and friend) is ready to give what I consider to be the best deal on a C63 in the country. You'll have to PM me for the details, and I'll connect you.

It is a 2009 C63, black on black with the following options:
Bi-Xenon Headlamps
Black Maple Wood Trim
COMAND w/Navigation & Voice Control
Cornering Fog Lamps
Harmon/Kardon Sound System
Headlamp Washing System
Leather Package
Multimedia Package
P2 Premium II
Power Driver Seat & Steering Column w/Memory
Power Passenger Seat w/Memory
Power Rear-Window Sunshade
TeleAid
Voice Control
iPod Integration Kit

It's pretty much loaded except PP, which IMHO, is not worth it unless you are regularly tracking the car, or not using the car as a DD.

MSRP is $67,360. So, take off the $7,500 off the top and you're at $59,860 and you have not even scratched the surface of negotiating the final price

Again, I'm posting this because I'd love to see a fellow MBWorld member pull the trigger and enjoy one of the most incredible cars I've ever driven. I get nothing from this, other than kudos from my buddy at the dealership, and perhaps some goodwill when it comes time for me to negotiate my 2010 E63, which is not looking so good since the resell market on the C63's are in the tank.

The car is located in Pittsburgh, and I know some great shipping companies that can deliver you car.

Happy hunting out there. If anyone loves black on black, fully loaded w/o PP, than please PM me.

I envy all of you who are considering the C63 right now. Although I got a good deal on mine back in November 2008, it's nothing like where they are right now.

Cheers

Good heads up on the current trunk money. And that connection. Thanks!

Only thing I'd suggest to prospective buyers of a new C63 is to start from the invoice and not MSRP. Figure the invoice and then the $7.5k.

That's the way I've also done it in the past; dealer's actual cost and what they want to make. A better practice, imho.

Yes, yes, thank you for the clarification! As 220S says, in a negotiation, start from invoice.

Does the deal apply to 2010 model or just left over 2009s? If only for 2009s, is there some sort of trunk money, perhaps less than $7500, available to the dealers for 2010s? I ordered a 2010 and the dealer stated 6% off of MSRP. This seems like a reasonable deal but $7500 off is obviously a better deal.

Too soon to say if 6% off MSRP on 2010s is a good deal or not. Remember to negotiate not from MSRP, but from invoice.

I'd say enjoy your 2010 and don't look back.

In what state is this dealership located? I may consider if it's near the west coast. Could you PM me with details?

Nevermind. I see the car is in PA. I'm all the way in HI and shipping would probably be very costly.

start from the invoice, and work your way up. msrp is a fictitious number anyway.

TC, that is awesome man. You obviously know this dealer, do you think the svrc shop would install a Quaife if I ordered it and had it sent there?

PM sent.

The best offer I've had yet is from a dealer in Illinois, 9K off plus shipping. I'm looking for, shipping included, something under 60K out the door for the 040 black, lthr, p2, nav, ipod. The cf trim would be nice.....

Since folks reading this thread may prefer the 040 black, is it really that hard to keep clean? My last car was an 06 STi w/ the metallic black, which was OK, but always seemed to have a bluish tint up close. I think the 040 would be worth the trouble, but just want to be sure. I also like the steel gray, but it's still a gray color..

Just a heads up to everyone. I've received about 4 PMs since I posted this. They all 4 could be tire kickers though JK.

So, if you're on the fence, please do PM me.

True, but with a 6.9% markup from invoice, $11k-$13k off MSRP is way below invoice; this is due to the $7,500 mfgr-dealer rebate which is figured in.

Just a heads up that the car is still available I'm told, but there are at least 2 people in touch who are very interested. Just a fair warning that this one is probably going home soon

Car still FS. I've had PMs from about 8 people now, and most have contacted the dealer inquring about this car. I think there are at least 2 people very interested, but nobody has pulled the trigger yet.

I am currently looking for c63 with the pp and this website has been helpful since i started. However, since everyone is talking about negotiating from the invoice, what is the invoice of this car? a car with pp and a car without a pp.

I've been told that MB's markup from invoice is 6.9%...maybe someone else can confirm that number.

so if we take the MSRP and minus it by 7%, it will be the invoice?

Justed picked up my Obsidian Black/Saharah Beige, 2009 C63 with PP and the works and got a great deal at $14,100 off of MSRP. Agree that you have to have PP on this car. Night and Day.

Maybe to some, but you can get a much better and proper mechanical LSD such as the OS Giken. Even though it will cost you $$$, it's a phenomenal unit. Probably the best aspect of the PP, LSD notwithstanding, are the 2 piece front rotors...

Try autotrader.com

You can specify your search for a particular color, narrow down your list of dealers, and then start calling. That's how I found mine.
