In sport mode, changes are 30% faster than in comfort mode, or 50% faster than in manual mode.

Huh? So M mode is slowest in shifting? I thought M was teh fastest and S the next fastest.

If you drive highway all the way on cruise control in comfort mode you can hit up to 21. I hit up like high 21s before...or am I driving too slow??? I usually go around 80.

Mercedes-AMG 6.2-litre (CLK, S, SL, CL, CLS, ML) - Doesn't say C class
I think that a lot depends on the platform.
Example:
I find ML 63 very powerfull and strong - like a big tough horse for carring wood logs
However, I find C63 less powerfull and very fit - like an Arabic racing horse
What I'm trying to say is - this engine is very different on each platform.

You're mistaken. The write up makes a direct reference to the C- class.

"The powerplant is available in various states of tune, ranging from 451bhp in the CLK up to 518bhp in the CL, and is built in the AMG engine shop on the ‘one man, one engine’ principle, with one technician responsible for hand-assembling a complete engine before leaving a signature on the engine plate."

The 451bhp unit referenced in that paragraph is the C63's engine, just incorrectly attributed to the CLK.

fwiw, the BMW V10 has won three years in a row.

imho, these 'awards' are kinda like Car and Driver 'Car of the Year' etc... except this one's Ukip Media. Media publicity but that's about it.

OK, the right up is about the C. But, there is no E class as well.
