Great launch, great ET, but cruddy trap speed (for that ET). Like I said before, the AWD Jeep GC SRT-8 can get great launches (we ALL know that), but at the end of the 1/4mi. and beyond, your truck slows way down. What was your 60ft. on that incredible 11.8sec ET run...1.6 sec, 1.7sec.? But, you're only trapping 114mph when running 11.8 sec. ET?
My buddy in his brand new, stock GT-R just ran 11.7 sec. @ 120.3mph (in 86 degree F / high humidity S. FL weather)!!!! Now, that's an indication of both a great launch AND huge HP in the top end.
btw -- I'm assuming your GC SRT-8 is not exactly stock ...what mods do you have to run 11.8 sec. @ 114mph when the other guy (1QWKJEEP) runs 12.58 sec. @ 105mph?

Wait, wait,wait...you have a what...Arrington 440 hemi? Sorry if I don't know what that is, but are you saying you have a different engine (than the oem stock bored out 6.2L Hemi SRT-8 engine) in your Jeep GC SRT-8 or is it majorly modded by "Arrington?" I am not familiar with this; sorry for asking, but...

You most likely ran a re-badged horribly driven SL55, an SL65 w/Drag Rads from this forum Engine bone stock, have run 11.50's @ 123-124mph do the math Hell even the heavy assed S65 w/Drag rads runs 11's @ 122

Umm none of what you said makes sense where did I say I ran a re-badged SL 65 and whats all this crap about trap speed is funny. Again its obvious to me you guys have no idea what you are talking about and you get your info from one of many vehicle magazines you subscribe too, I wonder what the DA was for the 11.5 bone stock SL 65 pass bet it was well in the negatives and as far as stuck mud I guess the SL 65 owner in that vid must of got some on his tires on that pass cause he got his *** handed to him down the majority of the track lucky it was not an 1/8 mile track cause he would of gone home and would have told his buddies he got his *** handed to him by at 5000 pound grocery go getter.

Maybe you should be using you teleaid to call someone who has a clue because its apparent you do not. Can you not grasp the fact that a Arrington 440 Hemi with cam and headwork would make the same power as lets say a stock 6.1 hemi on a 200 shot

Enjoy your majorly modded, non-stock bored and stroked 7.2L Jeep GC SRT-8 (which traps 113-114mph) and I will enjoy my stock MB C63 AMG which traps 114-115mph all day long.

I pulled away from a C5 vette with a worked 383 Stroker 3 times yesterday from a roll at 60. At 120 I really started to pull away. I dont run out of power up top, 0-160 in 25 seconds!!

No, b/c your Jeep isn't stock; you're HEAVILY MODDED with a stroked and bored out 7.2L engine. Why don't you brag about walking a stock GT-R while you're at it (not that your truck is quite that fast anyway). Jeez, these guys are killing me.

SL65's curb weight 4555lbs SL55's 4250lbs
SL65's commonly run 11.50-11.90 @ 120-124 mph, yes Trap speeds are irritating examples of true HP, your pathetic 105 trap could be beaten by a well driven N/A CLK55 dwn the 1320'...

I cant find on willing to race, there all trying to get their money back for th 50K they spent over sticker. You cant even launch it in launch mode or it will break the tranny. You find one and send him mty way!! I'm in NY and at the OBI at the beach every sunday morning.

Modded to modded there are several C63's with tune and bolt ons running in the 11's at or over 120 trap. Your own time slips show a consistant 22 mph gain on the big half of the track where these C63's are getting 25-26. They are not only going faster than you by 5-6 mph at the end of a 1/4 but the gap is growing as both vehicles enter triple digits.
Again you have a remarkable vehicle but not fast enough to catch the modded C63's that I am referring to.

You have a very quick but also very enhanced Jeep that is about as similiar to a stock SRT8 as a C63 is to a C350. Thus your Jeep would be on the list but not the SRT8 in general.
