I know for basic US Spec 204 the 2008 Model Years had external folding mirrors. this option was removed in the 2009 Model Year but the drivers memory seat was added. I believe that with the addition of memory seats was the addition of the passenger side mirror tip down when vehicle goes into reverse. I know that 2008's do not have the tip down feature.

Also I do not believe that any US spec C class AMG or not had the pre-safe option. I could be wrong here since I only have a C350. But with all the safety features MB has I have never heard of the "Automatic folding of external mirrors" I'm pretty sure that as far as safety is concerned the do not care about your outside mirrors, nor do they fold nearly fast enough to avoid a collision.

Wait wait, you are getting all wrong the "The imminent danger sensor" it’s a very serious device and it does not affect just the mirrors no no no, it actually among other functions in a real crash (imminent of course) at speeds over 160K certain steel panels comes up and boxes you in, the car almost folds in its self, of course I have never experience firsthand because I’m a very safe driver. Be aware that in accordance with MB warranty found in page 451 of your AMG/Extras Safety devices Manual you and people like you are just scaring the s*** of the car (evidence by folding mirrors when past by a fast taxi) some experience a slight shaking, please drive safe and avoid, taxis, sidewalks, pedestrians, etc specially crazy taxi drives (Brasilians manly) It could void the warranty.

Hahahahaha... so...in a nutshell... over 160k my car becomes a Death Race car??

Should avoid pedestrians too??? Damn... I had the impression I was playing Carmageddon! Don't tell me that red means stop and green means go! That would kill me. I always did the opposite!
