Painting Exterior Parts
Just picked up my baby and am loving it! Being that I have a severe mod bug, I want to pace myself. So starting off easy I'm looking to have some exterior parts painted and have a few questions about it.
I am going to have a body shop paint the sidemarkers, but have a question about the bulbs. It seems like the heat generated by them might melt the paint. Do I just remove the bulbs?
I also want to black out the front grill and chrome trim lining the windows. Is it better to do this with paint or a vinyl wrap?

Paint the bulbs with VHT night shades or some black
hi-temp' engine spray paint. No melting.
Vinyl wrap, probably cheaper, looks just as good, lasts just as long and you can always remove it and start over again.
