Special Edition C63 - "Edition 63"
Sorry guys, this ones for the Australians.
Just got this from MB Australia, a special edition C63 coming our way.
Features are:
Exterior Styling- Designo metallic paint:
- Platinum black
- Magno Allanite grey
- Mystic white
Performance enhancements:
-Rear Locking Differential
-AMG 19" multi spoke alloy wheels
Interior Styling:
-Designo leather upholstery
* Designo Sand
* Designo Classic Red
-Extended black leather appointments
* Dashboard (with contrast stitch in upholstery colour)
* Door arm rest (with double stitching)
* Centre arm rest (with double stitching)
-AMG crest on gearshift lever
-Illuminated door sills

i waited for Mystic white, but they said it will never come.. until mine arrived, they said they are doing it lol

i like it except for the spoked wheels. i prefer the standard 18s. i think those 18s are just the nicest wheels. simple and classic. but i do like this package. i bet its $$$$$

They have offered that designo stuff for years in the European market and it will cost top dollar and I mean big bucks. And the special edition package is I believe for all C class models which on the German MB site, mb.de. That also makes me believe that the facelift is right around the corner.

I work for a Benz dealership in NSW and that news letter came through yesterday. There were no pictures yet as the vehicles have not yet arrived.
The "Edition 63" is priced at AUD$169,900 for the sedan plus on road costs. Thats an additional $30,400 over the standard C63.

My thoughts exactly! Not sure how they can justify the premium when the locking diff is avail for an extra AUS$8K, factor in AUS$7500 for the exact 19" multispoke wheels and tyres - that's still an extra $15K approx for some fancy trim and designo leather! A bit rich IMHO!
