...... So, i joined this forum, read alot of what you people say about the C63 .. fell in love with it !

and went shopping for one, estimating the price would me some how close to what you guys are getting in the United States ... but i guess i got with the price i saw ..

Basically over here .. the dealer order all his car with almost all possible options avalible , every possible thing just have it added to the option list.

attached is a sample of what i saw in the dealer ... a C63-Designo .. special interior color with full carbon fiber interior .... something amazing really but for 107K .... no WAY ...

---- i'd rather buy one from the states and have it shipped here to where i live .. at least ill be saving 40K minimum !

It looks like a European "designo model" wich for that price would be a steel for the Europeans. A normal, without designo fully loaded C63 in Germany cost around 100 euro k which would be close to 150 US dollar k at todays exchange rate. I will say it again, we as the American consumer really dont know how good we have it compaired to the rest of the world.

searching thru this forum and autotrader.com, new 2009 are being sold for 54-55 K so add tax + insurance and dmv fees .

my case IF any US Mercedes-Benz dealer accept to export a brand new C63 i am estimating my cost 54K+5%(customs in AE) + 2.7K shipping + 1K misc. fees ... sums up to approx 61K .....

so 61K vs. 107 ..... that is saving 40K +

well, thats what I'm talking about. For the price in Europe for a stock C63, you can buy in the US a fully loaded CL63. That's the difference. You all in the US are lucky *******s :P

common man 107K is not reasonable when u can get it for 40K lower .

you can get another decent car for 40K ... after all i still consider myself lucky .. because I can register any foreign specs vehicles here in Dubai or Abudhabi as long as its left hand drive

Exactly! The same thing about gasoline prices. When a European comes into the US, he thanks God for the low gasprice, while a American should be angry about those prices!

yeah man, you know where I'm talking about! That's the difference between Europe and the US. The most great example is about the '08 Mustang GT V8. In the US it will cost around the $25000,- . Here in Holland, where we have a huge tax price, you will buy for that money, approx. E 13,000,- , you will have with a little bit luck a car without, wooden wheels,a engine as drivetrain instead of a pair paddles like a bicycle, a crate as a seat, and no body, and you will drive for that price a reasonable luxury car with 300bhp under the hood.
