Is it me or...

did a bunch of new C63 owners just sprout out like mushrooms!?

I swear everyone and their grandma has a C63 now

And every day at least one "zomg i gotz me car" thread shows up.

Congrats to all the new owners and lurkers that finally decided to post now that they are officially C63 drivers.

Bunch of us now

A Lexus IS250 caught up to me on the freeway as I was exiting and when I reached the stop light he rolled down his window and told me he wanted one too

Not in Maryland or surrounding areas. I've only seen 3 prowling the roads in the last year? Saw one in downtown Pittsburgh last time I was there.

I am happy for all the new C63 owners but there are still not as many C63s as M3s so I think its ok lol. If you want exclusivity buy an ISF, tons of those just sitting on the lot here in L.A.

I never looked at it this way, I wonder what the real reason why the number of M3s on the road is > than C63s on the road.

Do you think its because of the manual gearbox? The 2 door coupe styling perhaps? Or the small high reving V8 that has no torque?

I know it is a better handling car but who here would really drive any of these cars like Micheal Schumacher around the city or much more on a daily basis?

Sure did with the recent/current "AMG clearance" sale. As a matter of fact, 3 of us (AMG Vegas & Desmo996) here in Vegas bought ours within 7 days of eachother and all of us live within an 8 mile radius.

thats me. i was seriously thinking i would either get a preowned E63 or C next year but with the MB money i was able to get 14k off sticker so i couldnt resist. maybe thats part of the reason. i doubt M3s are going for that big of a discount and acutally i didnt even drive one of those. i tested the ISF and its nice but the C has more interior space (or so it appears) and of course the exhaust is just heavenly on the C.

cause C63 is a lot of car for the money

I thought the amg designed racing engine alone is worth 55k usd asking price. Nevermind the very good handling, awesome look, huge brakes, homie interior.

Insanely attractive base rates on leasing
1.9% financing for a loan
...it's still an M3

Ditto... I have not seen a C63 in Maryland, DC, or Virginia ever since I got mine in 2008 unless it was a the dealership.

Depending on where you live, the C63 is almost *too* successful. I see so many of them here in Vancouver it's not even funny.

One reason is cuz our engines are hand made and M3s are made by robots

I know there are several running around S. FL, but other than mine (which I've only had for 2 weeks now), I've only seen 2 other C63 AMG's on the street and 2 on dealer lots before they were sold. I have, however, seen many BMW M3's...on the street and tons sitting on the BMW dealer lots.

Are you in the financial industry? You seem to know all the inside scoop

I almost forgot about the lease rate. When we were shopping for a car I was offered a fully loaded M3 Manual Convertible for $890 / Month, 3 year lease, 12k / year.

That was pretty crazy considering the MSRP on that car was i believe 75K +

I have seen about 4 or 5 M3s in Halifax. I have never seen another C63, but I know there is one more.

You car looked awsome. That is the color I wanted but since my C55 was totaled I had to settle for what the dealer had and get the Silver one. Just looked cool from what I saw, mostly saw the tail lights so I now I now how mine looks from the read
