Canadian trim options?
So, aparently I can't get aluminium. Can't get Birds eye maple. Walnut is a no charge option and CF is $2500. What comes standard in the C63 up here?
I don't really want carbon (cause it isn't worth $2,500) and I hate the walnut. I like the birds eye.
What do all the canuks have right now?

You can always buy an '09, I guess. If that's not an option, I'd just suck it up and pay for the CF.

This really is BS!!
I am/was looking at a '10 model myself and wanted anything BUT walnut maple. Now I'm hearing it's the only (no cost) trim available?
I HATE walnut maple. *sigh* Might have to get an '09 then. CF is just not worth the $$ imo.

If you are leasing the car and you are living in Metro, there is a chance the MB of Canada they won"t approve the lease eventhrough you have a good deal with the indendent dealer and MBC want you to deal with the Dealer in Metro.

See if you can something after market or a shop that does vinyl wrap or see if you can get the part number and order the trim that you want from the states, just some ideas and hope that helps, good luck!!!

I've got the CF and love it
Making a sticking point in part of your negotiations and i bet you you can get it thrown in or at least heavily discounted.....
I'm pretty sure most people would get CF if it wasn't $2500

I would suggest you go for some Carbon Fiber Fabric they are about 50cad a yard and you probably need no more than two yard to cover all the pieces in ur car. Find a local shop that has some experience working with vinyle fabric wrapping and for less than 500bux you should have everything professionally wrapped.
I ve seen these fabric in person and they look very good and are quality products that won't fade down the road. They also provide a matte look which i prefer over the CF trim pieces that are some what shiny. They CF fabric also comes in charcol, silver and black.

Word is that if you get the performance package, you cannot get birds eye maple. That is so lame. Basically, they are forcing you to get the carbon option!
Ken, you did not get the performance package, correct?
