That makes me feel a bit better.
So far over the 13000km I've owned my C63;
My best ever tank: used 52.69l for 467km travel, 11.28l/100km
MY worst ever tank: used 59.08l for 255km travel, 23.17l/100km

Overall I've averaged 19.46l/100km for the 13091km.

If you guys have the opportunity to do a long highway trip, try using Manual mode exclusively and keep the gearbox in 7th gear throughout. You'll be pleasantly surprised by how fuel efficient this car is under such circumstances.

I've been getting 19mpg on the hwy, and today I actually got 20.0mpg on the hwy for a 90 min. trip. But, I have to say that I still find myself driving below 1/2 tank and on "fuel reserve" (and quickly stopping to fill up) a lot as the C63 AMG's gas tank is too small for the mpg it gets...it really needs a 21gal. gas tank, imho. I've been filling up with gas 3x/week.

After about 6 months I consistantly get about 350k's out of a tank basically what I would call suburb driving, but be ware dont let it get near the empty line, as soon as you hit it you are actually out.... I know .. coming across the hay plains.... damn head winds:-(

If you can help it, I wouldn't let the car sit long on "almost empty" as you'll get water condensation in the fuel. Sometimes it's not practical, but I try to keep mine at least half full.
