Finally decided to post some pictures of my car
As some of you know, I bought this car from one of the members on this board.
I have been a member for a year and I'm very proud to be a part of this amazing community.
Before buying a used car I've ordered a brand new one from WI Simmonson in Santa Monica, CA. Ordered everything but TeleAid and CF trim. However, there was one more option that I wanted: "Late delivery". Since I'm a visitor in Los Angeles, CA, I wanted to pre pay the car and come back for it during my next visit (ordered 9/2008, wanted to pick up 3/2009) to the States. The salesman said: "It is absolutely no problem, the later the better for us, we can even ship it to your home country (which is Russia)." He wrote on the order form "DELIVERY MARCH 2009" However, as soon as I left LA (10/08) he wrote me an email (late 11/08) saying: "The car is sitting at our dealership, you have to pick it up within 2 weeks".
Long story short, I canceled my order (non refundable $1000 was lost) and I started looking for a used car.
I wanted to modify the car that I ordered right when I come back to the States, so I figured that I will not have enough time to do it and found this car which was already modified by OPM GT3 (I got very lucky).
This car has: Renntech shorty headers, Renntech ECU, Renntech wheels, Renntech CF airbox, Secondary cats removed and replaced by Renntech pipe, Revozport CF kit (lip, diffuser, spoiler, vents) and some other very useful options (clear bra, laser, evosport rear rotors etc).
Stock options: Everything but CF trim.
Recently I have made some minor mods:
1. Blacked out Grille (gloss black vinyl wrap + touch up paint) (which I not feeling at the moment) The work is great but I don't like the concept
2. Blacked out window trim (matte black vinyl wrap to match rubber trim around glass + matte black pillars)
3. Painted seat backs (white)
4. Painted interior trim (white instead of Brown Wood) (Really like it)
5. Trunk trim gloss black to match CF diffuser
Excuse my long story, but I had to write it up eventually.
Thanks to:
My Wife Anna and son Ivan
OPM GT3 - Jon Winter is a man of his word! And just a nice guy!
AZN 300 - Recommended wrapping place and gave some good tips

Congrats and good work on the purchase from the member here, looks like he set that car up perfectly for you, nothing left to do!

ooooh, that was your car I saw at Promax a couple weekends ago. Sick looking ride. Snapped some shots and watched them work on your trim.
If you're not feeling the grille, might I suggest flat black wrap instead of gloss? Will match the lower mesh grilles and the rest of your trim. Less plastic-y feel.

Thank you for your comments.
2 AZN_C300 I think that is a good idea, I'll talk to John about it, I still have to come back for Lamin X'ing fogs and blacking out fog trims, so might as well redo the grill.
I was also thinking of switching to C300-350 Lux grille, members from C class thread told me that it will not fit. Because they tried to install an OEM C63 grille on their C classes and there is a gap that is visible, meaning that if you try C 300/350 grille on C63, you will end up with the same issue. However, Revozports new CF grille fits both C 300 and C63. I'm confused... But, I still want to try it and see for myself. Any thoughts?
2 Sincity Thanks for congrats! As Chubbs032 already said it is Vinyl, the good thing about it is that there is no harm to the parts being wrapped. The vinyl is simply sticking on your trim, so if you get tired of the black look, you can just peel it off. I went flat black, so that it matches the rubber lining around the glass.
2 REDSRT Arthur, Eddie (RPi M5) and I decided to bail out right before everyone left. I don't know why, just a bad feeling I guess. I heard that one of M3's had an accident (drove into a rock wall), right? How was your run? Did you enjoy?

-Michael- Yeah it was cool. I'm not really sure what happend with the M3, I think a rock flew off the canyon and hit his car. (I dont think that guy will be coming back, lol, he was pretty pissed. Sh**t I would be too.) I didn't really push the car to the limit yet cause its still "kinda" new. Anyway, there was a few other minor interuptions but overrall a good ride.

The gap they're talking about is the space on the side between the lower half of the C63 grille and the upper half. This is a result of a difference in the hood gap, not front bumper. In terms of fitment, the C63 and C300/350 grille will lock in correctly. The T bar brace is slightly different, but you don't really need that part anyways and can remove. If you wanted to wait, I'll be headed back to socal for Dubfest next month and will be stopping by Promax if you wanted to swap grilles to test fitment, if you can't find anyone willing to let you test fit.
