New C63 AMG owner
Hi. New member from San Diego and excited to be part of the AMG community! I bought a new white on black 09 C63 AMG with AMG leather, premium 2, multimedia, ipod integration, and teleaid last week and got a great deal! $54k plus MB tires and rim protection and lojack for $660 extra! But I did pay $1500 extra for the 3 year prepaid maintenance...
I know the break-in period is important, but I could not resist driving hard out of the dealer and easily passed 6k rpm. I thought my trade-in G35 Coupe was fun, but this car is something else! But I do wish I got the performance package since the ride is little bit more smooth than my stock G35 Coupe.
For people who live in San Diego, which dealer do you recommend for service? Or do you recommend dealers more north? Thanks.

I heard hoehn (sp?) is good. It's in Carlsbad area. Heard it's really good customer service. But it's just too far for me. If I have any problems in my car I usually try to get it done when I'm back in LA. But just oil change every 5K miles I just get it done at San Diego Mercedes.

How much does it cost for an oil change at SD MB?
Do you happen to go to UCSD?

I agree. Hoehn Mercedes at Carlsbad has the best service I have ever encountered so far.
The Service Assistant actually calls you and gives you an update on what's happening to your car. If Mercedes Benz of Carlsbad and Mercedes Benz of San Diego were a movie,
Mercedes Benz of Carlsbad would be "The Godfather" and Mercedes Benz of San Diego would be "Nacho Libre". There is just no comparison between the two IMHO.

Welcome and enjoy the ride, I hope to see you on the roads someday, never see 63's on the freeway around San Diego, Saw MercPlease once was sort of a blurr as he shot by me so I can see hwo the car looks from the rear, cool. I also go to Escondido, they seem to treat me rightand I get my oil there changed for 20% off normal price, just ask manager they will do it. Don't tell them I sent you they might tack on 20%. But really welcome enjoy and drive safe. Hope to see you around sometime.

Hope to see all of you guys on the road. My car will probably have a chargers bolt on the back window like my old car so it'll be easy to spot me. I have never seen a C63 on the road. I see more $100k, $200k plus AMGs!
