Thanks!! I live in Dallas where its miserably hot and humid so I tried both turning a/c off and running fan, and full heat for 10 min and after a couple of rounds the smell is gone. Not sure which route did the trick or if it was combo of both but thanks. Im assuming I can turn off the a/c and run the fan routinely to keep the problem from coming back?

Mine smells like wine. It really smells like some sort of alcohol.

I had the bad smell. Now it's gone.
Took it to the dealer, they applied some sort of AC cleaning procedure, then they replaced the in-cabin vent. No more smell. Problem solved... for now.

Same thing for me (live in Dallas). Dealer did a great job cleaning under warranty. No more smell......
