Racing Greed Mustang Dyno Result
#2
Aren't mustang dyno's supposed to generate lower numbers? I have also been told that the adjustment factors (SAE corrected etc) can cause 10 to 30 hp variances. I think SAE corrected adjusts the readings to what would be more or less ideal conditions (sea level and 70 degrees).
Also, did you have the car in dyno mode?

^^Yeah but that is a AWD too, yours is RWD. If you want I can post about 5 or 6 of my last 6 cars that were dyno stock and with a couple of mods on a Mustang Dyno so that yoiu can have an idea.
Here is one to make you angry(I am being sarcastic):
94 Dodge Stealth 112000 miles 6 speed manual AWD only mod k&N filter
put down 269whp/299lb-tq on a Mustang Dyno, car is rated at 320hp/315tq(crank)
06 Evo IX, only mods boost controller,mail-in tune, air filter,3"exhaust put down 304whp/304lb-tq on a mustang dyno, car is rated from factory 286hp crank.Remember, it is a AWD also.
There is something wrong on your readings.

Most stock C63s I've seen dynoed between 365 to 370 whp on a dynojet. Assuming 18% drivetrain loss, those numbers would put them between 448 to 452 crank hp which is within the advertised stock numbers. Mustang dynos, if setup correctly/aggressively, usually read about 10% lower than most dynojets. This would mean that your car should've still at least dynoed 330 whp. That said, I've seen Mustang dynos vary greatly between machines and different operator settings. The first time on the dyno, for example, my car read 502 whp on a Mustang dyno before the technicians came to fix it. Best dyno is usually the track.
What type of gas was in the car and how hot was it in the dyno room?

The filtering that I am aware off is the one that makes the curve reading smoother(not as peaky). Typically your numbers are higher before been filtered. Once you filter the power and torque curve the readings are lower but more readable and smooth. It is on the software.
Someone is more than welcome to correct me.

C63 AMG Arctic w/ Stage 1 Tune, DoubleXX pipe, MCD-631X coming soon
I think you might not have been in dyno mode. You also need to make sure the car is run in 5th gear.

oh, you don't have a PP car.. right, wow it was in dyno mode? hmmm maybe you need to have them check the settings on their machine. We have our settings password protected in case of accidental changes, maybe their settings got changed on accident? Double back check on your graph, it looks a bit odd, the curve does not look right, even with the smoothing factor turned up. hmm odd
