rear tires for C63? different than front tires ok?

rear tires for C63? different than front tires ok?

My rear C63 tires are worn after only 6000 miles of street driving. Is it dangerous to put a different brand at the rear(less costly and more durable than the p-zero) and keep my pirelli up front until they wear out? Any brand sugestions?

you'll be fine as long as the new rear tires have the same amount of tread remaining.

it's generally not recommended to have two different compounds on front and rear..
it can be dangerous if the traction level is different front and rear.

+10 - just after getting new rears (Toyo Proxes T1R) to go with my OEM Pirelli's... I found myself almost losing control of the car when north of 60MPH. Took it back and bought all 4's the same.
