They get even more scary with a simple reflash and boltons from Protomotive, Evolution Motorsports AWE Tuning ,etc.
While a 997 Turbo is out of my price range, I just like hearing about them.

With that said, I would even take a 996 turbo over the R8.
Only way I would take a R8 over a turbo is if I could sell the R8 and then buy a turbo.

They should close up the thread on that alone.
I love the roar of the 6.2L V8 in the C63. I also love the scream of the 3.6L V6 TT in the Porsche.
The C63 has a tremendously smooth powerband. But, the modded TT is smooth too.
The C63 interior is blah. The Porsche's rocks (also with a little help of interior painted pieces).
Both cars get oohs and ahhhs -- but more for the P-car.
I will say that it was not an option not to mod the turbo after my C63 KLEEMANN K2. Stock turbo still rocks the modded C63, but not by a huge margin.
I equally love and enjoy both cars. With that said, my car ADD has been left untreated and I almost traded my P-car on a 2008 Gallardo last week, and I've been seriously considering trading my C63 for a 2010 E63 when it arrives next month.

I sold my 996 TT about 6 months ago and it had 550HP which was enough to Jam any R8 in the nutz...
