How much are the gains from headers only.

The stainless steel headers are good for 15hp over the ECU2 tune. 511hp to 526hp with headers.

the LT should be good for I'd say atleast 30-40 if not more... this is all speculation btw as we haven't dynoed the RENNtech LT's yet.

30-40 to the wheels Or 30-40 horsepower to the motor

I have MHP long tubes without cats but they do come with 02 connections. I do not get a CEL with the Kleemann tune I assume because the sensors are connected and providing some sort of information to the ECU. The rwhp gain was 44 over the Kleemann shorts which is probably 65 or so higher than factory manifolds.

Doesn't Kleeman do some programming to the ECU with the K2 package to get rid of the CEL with their headers?? I could be wrong. I haven't spoke to them about it...

If the cats were not there the sensors would send a CEL to the car because the emissions were too high, maybe throw a check cats code??

The K2 package includes high flow cats and the sensor bibs are fore and aft of the cats. I think Kleemann's header tune is designed for this set up and I am not sure why it isn't throwing a cel. Regardless after the weather cools and I get a magic number 1/4 mile time, I am going to install some high flow cats to reduce the sound volume. We were nearly excused from Roebling Road Raceway for being over the max decibels.

Wow, its that loud? Im thinking of just leaving the exhaust alone then. My neighbors will do back flips when I leave late at night.

Only on cold starts (which I leave the garage door closed for) and WOT which won't be in your neighborhood.

K2 ECU has CEL programming so it doesn't go off I was quoted 500 more for this reprogramming if I stepped up to K2.

I hope you're kidding about leaving your garage door closed while you start your car, unless you're trying to kill yourself via carbon monoxide poisoning.

Not kidding about the door but I raise it within 10 seconds or so. Vinny, what you hear is when we trailer the car over to your house so I can do a cold start at about 6am on a Sunday morning. Then I take off so your neighbors think it must have been you. I bet they have all been looking at you funny lately.

Got the ECU back today from Renntech. Put about 110km on the car today. Throttle response is wayyy better. There is no more delay when you hammer it, it takes right off.

First gear jumps off the line and rips to redline, same with second. 3rd and 4th are much stronger in the midrange now. 3rd gear feels more like 2nd stock.

Car pulls noticeably stronger all the way too 200km/h with ease. Its quite stronger from 100-200km/h.

Im setting up a race with the M5 that pulled on me at around 180kmh when the car was stock. Also, will be attending the track on the weekend to see how it effected my 1/4 time. Sad I have to pack the car in a few weeks. Stupid winter.

Basically, the car was very reserved stock, now it feels way more raw and responsive.

I might go cut off the secondary cats tomorrow, we'll see.

Turn around time from Renntech(florida) to Canada was 2 business day, very impressed with that.

Congrats. The power increase you're describing seems to be distributed the same was as with Kleemann K1. Don't do like me and watch for the cops in the first few days of your "new" car.

Raced my arch-nemesis the M5 today. Did about 5-7 runs. Renntech C63 for the win!

My car: Hoosier A6 rear tires, Renntech ECU2 and charcoal filter delete.
08 M5: Stock

From a stop: C63 would be a car length or more a head by the end of first gear. The tires REALLY helped with this, as the outside temp was only 3degrees Celsius. The M5 was getting a lot of wheel spin off the line. We raced a few other times like this and he couldn't get anywhere near close to taking me, I'd have him crushed even with him feathering the throttle.

From a 20-30km/h roll in 1st: C63 would take off and by 2nd gear I was 1-2 car lengths ahead all the way to 260-280km/h then he slowly started to creep by me at around 280kmh he was about a car length ahead.

When the car was stock I would take off slightly ahead in first then by 2nd he be beside me and at around 150kmh he was past me. Around 180kmh he was 3 or more car lengths ahead of me.

The tune has helped out tons, the car is noticeably faster. Its an animal out of the dig through 1st and 2nd, with no wheel spin it takes off awesome with these tires.

Im going to the track this weekend to see what the 1/4 is, hopefully I can maintain this kind of traction at the track.

Dyno time is scheduled for next weekend on Wednesday, I will post results.

Cost me 6kCDN but I finally beat that M5 LOL. Was it worth it? **** ya.

Knew you would like the RENNtech ecu 2 flash tune! Great runs w/ the M5!!!!! Please post up your dyno; I'm interested to see if your car dyno's similar to mine.
