FYI the brand of Costco gas (today)

I filled up at the Tustin/Jamboree Costco ($3.23/gal) today since I was there already and my normal Chevron and Shell stations were at $3.35/gal. Coincidentally the driver was filling the underground tank so I went over and asked him what brand of gas his tanker was carrying...he said "today it's Exxon," but in a way that suggested it could be any brand the next load. Still, good to hear it's a major brand.

you have a $65K car and you're trying to save on gas that could potentially hurt your engine (since you didnt know it was exxon) ? not to mention its not the most gas friendly engine either >.<

if you can get gas without ethanol that would be the way to go, never mind the cost.

I wouldn't take that chance on anything I own, It's either Shell V Power, BP 93, or Chevron 93 w/ Techron for me. Sunoco 93 is great as well. I would be weary putting Costco gas in a 6.2L engine not to mention a 65k car. Hope everything pans out nicely.

These are the refineries in SoCal where Costco buys gas:

BP (Carson)
Chevron (El Segundo)
Shell (Wilmington)
ExxonMobil (Torrance)
ConocoPhillips (Wilmington)
Valero (Wilmington)

Although I have my favorite brands, I'm not worried about Costco's quality in the slightest.
