Stupid MB parts/service employee was mocking me for having the "cheapest" AMG
And (DISCLAIMER: This is an opinion based on a premature judgement of the situation. It may not reflect the true. Actually, any similarity to the truth is a mere coincidence) I'm also 25 and I've never been treated this manner. Maybe it's just the way you asked, so the guy felt like pissing you off.
I've always treated the guys at my stealership with all respect and manner, on an "friendly" relationship, even though I know most of them cannot afford the AMG.
Also, I don't feel like badging my car all the way. Actually, I find quite elegant the debaged AMGs.

I find it sad that some employees don't even know the product base of what they work with. In the case of this thread, the individuals not knowing that a C63 indeed have the same engine as the S63/CL63,etc. Very sad...as you would think the individuals you take your car to should know a bit about it or atleast the basics.
Reminds me when I walked into dealerships and I have to tell the salesman the specs when I was just 12-14 years old, they really looked stupid and even at that age I was appalled to see it.
Simple philosophy: Know your craft, know your product, respect your customers.
Also too bad for theose parts people cause i doubt they can ever afford a C63 well can they even afford filling it up every 2 days?
Laugh and never visit that dealership again!

To OP, just get over it and know that you probably drive a nicer car than they do.
