This C63 ran back to back 11.8's at a private track day that I organised at Western Sydney International Dragway ... I saw the runs!

If it really matters that much to you I'll be able to get a log of every run on the day, I'm sure Sonny has the slip to back it up anyway. Sonny has worked on my cars for years now, he got a 2.1 tonne AWD HSV Coupe 4 (AWD Monaro) that I owned to run a 10.9 in FULL STREET TRIM (Falken FK-452 tyres at 38psi) ... he is definitely not full of crap.

Sonny ... should have my C63 within the next 2 weeks, I'll come for a run to say hi when I get it.

Just for those who are genuine here,we ran 11.8@121mph 4 consecutive times in a row in front of a crowd of 40+ onlookers with official timing at WSID ,Its all in the western international raceway logs for those interested in checking.

We could have done alittle better though the vehicle struck some trouble during the event.The transmission was nuetralising during the drag strip burnout and motorkana event.By turning the igntion of & retstarting the car,you would get drive again.After spending some time on it,we spoke to mercedes to find there was an issue with some c63 accelorator pedal assemblys.Its booked in to have this issue rectified,then we go back to the track again to better the 11.8 run.Your car looked great as usual Ben,thats some fine machine !!!

Sonny is one of the first Tuners in Aus who actually started modifying C63's. I think he deserves a little more respect. With his persistance and the c63 responding so well, it has got the attention of other Tuners who are also now modifying C63s. I believe this is good news, as it will create more tuners to choose from and we will get more locally engineered parts for our cars.

Congrats on the time, nothing like abot of friendly rivalry, hopefully soon i too will be in the 11s

Sounds like apmitchell74 is another tuner who cant match the same results as Sonny. What is it with some tuners bagging out on everyone else, reminds me of school kids.

I dont think you will find a more credible guy than Sonny in the tunning industry. He has produce oustanding results with the LS1 crew and is now proving his talents with the C63.

Hey Nick (C63 V8) you dont know me but I have followed the progress of your coupe 4 from WA over the years, what a beast. With the type of commitment you showed to that car i cant wait to see what you are going to do with the C63! welcome aboard.

will post the time cards very shortly sonny, im from perth so the track was kwinna motorplex our drag season starts here in three weeks should have full exhaust by then and hope to run 11.2/11.3 at around 125mph will be posting the run on you tube and time slips(hopefully my car runs the times) as i have had a custom made video camera braket made for my car will post both inside and out side runs of the car for you to see,nothing against power chip but put there software in my wifes ml63 not impressed ran it up on a mainline 4wd dyno and the af ratios were all over the place .amg is not like holden you cant buy a LS3 engine for 10k when it fails.amg sell whole engines only not even short motors for 80k they wont even sell you certain parts to repair a failure,working for a merc dealer i know this very well.but love the fact that are out there trying to tune amgs,keep up the good work maybe we can meet on the track and go head to head i have no problem putting my car on a truck and sending it to sydney, would make for a good magizine article .

No there hasn't been anything worth while posting about!! If we are going to talk about credibility I recall a video on youtube of Sonny putting down another Tuners tune! Now that's credibility!!

No I'm not a tuner!! I have had an ML63 and own a C63, I'm looking at modding it etc! I'm not the one who made up a false video about another tuner and posted it on the powerchip youtude site!!

Plus I really don't care about LS1 tuning!! This is an AMG forum not a LS1 forum... You really can't compare the two, AMG engines are far better than a LS1!!

the tune is modern horse power mhp this is not my first amg and have modified every car i own but the best tune so far.

when sonny spends 160k on a new c63 and modifys it him self ill grant him the respect he deserves

do you own a amg sonny and i mean a new 63 and my tune is mhp modern horse power , the race track is kwinnana moto plex our drag season starts agian in 3 weeks so will post vids and time slips of full exhaust and tune once i have them installed ,im quite excited at the fact that aussies can slug it out on the drag strip between tuners of german muscle cars not just commodres or falcons ,look forward to your progress on the c63 , ,do you make cams?
