I've watched this over and over again and here are my thoughts:
- Magnussen should have executed a cleaner pass. He should have stalked more and made a more concerted effort. IMO, I would have held back a little comming off of the right hand turn before the last straight (turn 10) and then held as much speed as I could into the left hander going into the straight (turn 11). I think the Vette would be able to pass or at least pull up to the Porsche down the straight and then a clean hairpin would seal the deal.
- Magnussen had the better car, at least in the closing stages.
- Bergmeister was the better driver. He fended off multiple attacks and even kept his composure to take back a position with a double-pass.
- I'm SURE Sebring 2007 was playing through Bergmeisters head when this was all going on.
I agree Magnussen shouldn't have bumped him into turn 11 but honestly, it just shook him loose a bit, not enough to really gain and advantage. Bergmeister moved over into Magnussen very agressively ultimately causing a crash. I didn't like that part.

Bergmeister was hit twice in the rear and also passed illegally by the RN in the Vette. The Vette deserved what it received....Masensen needs to go over to NASCAR where this type of unprofessional driving is acceptable. Bergmeister uber alles!!!
I've owned at least 8 Vettes and three Porsches-the BS driving by the Vette was inexcusable. He just got beat....

VERY entertaining couple of laps. Best I've seen in a while. My 4 year old Son and I watched it over and over for about an hour (he insisted)
Plenty of skills but Karma reigned supreme in the end....

The driver of the Porsche is a total loser in everyway. I watch the whole thing. He blocked the Corvette driver every single time when you can see the Corvette had more top end specially after that left curve at the end of the straight(when teh vette passed the car on the outside).
That Porsche driver is garbage, why did he crushed the vette against the wall? it was what I said, the Vette was quicker.

wouldn't call the porsche guy total loser as blocking one off is big apart of any professional race
However would have to say that the vette guy is siginificantly faster and a better driver.

seriously guys, you gotta think that these cars, being in the same GT2 class are fairly evenly matched. The Vette was obviously the faster car that day however. Even then, with them being pretty close in performance, if the car in front decides that trading paint is worth it, it's next to impossible to pass.

I watched dozen of road race races and if you have a slower car you move out of the way, that is the rule of driving clean. This applies everywhere , Formula one, road courses ETC.. You can technically do the PITT maneouver and screw everyone in front of you no?
Would you run a felow cyclist into a cliff while compiting in the tour of France? I wouldn't, that is being a total a$$. If someone is faster let them pass you. Why would you block a guy in a straight that is 100 feet wide?

If you have something to say don't use the excuse of a MB community, this has nothing to do with the MB community, it was my own personal opinion of that particular race. I think you should be more concern about your own IQ which your childish comment.

Can you elaborate on your absurd and retarded comments. You make no sense... How in the hell am I bringing the IQ of a forum/MB World community down?
