Matte Black Wrapped the C63...
Now the tough part begins, the hunt for suspension and wheels to match the new color. Desperately need it now. At least I have the winter to figure it out.
Benyl's C63 came out for a quick shoot tonight too. Good comparison from the original color.

to matt black the car.. is it hard to reverse it ?? i believe it is just a layer of "sticker" over the original paint ???
The tailights are already smoked. Blacked out completely is a little too much for my tastes.
I got quoted anywhere from $4k to $7k, so it depends if you wanna get ripped off haha. It's the same amount of work as applying 3M completely on the car, which costs about $4k.
I kept the reflectors orange (did have them smoked darker) because I didn't like the looks of clear or smoked reflector. It made the front end a little bland without the color. Stock was a little too much distraction so I ended up just smoking the orange.
As for the window chrome trim, I purposely left those chrome to give it a little more of a contrast. You can't see it in the pictures, but I also left the shark fin antenna non matte, the edges of the mirrors non matte, the circle part of the grill non matte, and the line under the trunk lid non matte. It gives it a little bit of a contrast difference around the car to make it less boring/bland.
I'll see if I made the right choice in the next few days, otherwise those parts are getting wrapped haha.
a few more things should be added tho
window trim - matte black
reflector - matte black
grille - matte black painted
as for rims . . . HRE monoblock textured black
and some springs or coilovers!
and you will have the nicest c63 ever!

That's a little too overboard for me. A lot of people love it, but to me it almost looks uninteresting. Definately need the chrome and other pieces to bring out the color.
looks great as is.
as for coilovers, i just got mine in and considered getting just springs myself but i guess our winters are not nearly as cold as yours. do you think c/o would seize that fast in an alberta winter?
