slight vibration at idle
slight vibration at idle
Hello I recently got my c63 and now it has 1,200 miles on it. I did follow the break in procedure, but I am noticing a very slight vibration at idle. Its kind of random and doesn't have a specific periodic time. I asked the dealer quickly and he said because the 6.3 is hand built they will have those small vibrations in them. Is this normal doesn't bother me too much but when I am sitting at a light and feel it, I just wonder if its normal. I thought it might go away after break in but hasn't so far. Thanks in advance for the help.

Haha! I always love dealer's explanations!
My car is past the break-in period and still got this vibration. But it is very, very slight. It is almost like you are slowly releasing the clutch of a manual transmission vehicle, but it is even slighter.
I don't know what it could be. Seldom happens and there's no performance loss. If you are worried, thought, I'd suggest you check the oil level, since the light only comes when in critical level

Yeah..I am in the same boat. Sometime it’s kind of annoying,, my car has 4000 miles.. Interestingly sometimes I also felt engine sounds different with full tank of gas and with almost empty tank. I thought I was crazy.. but since someone else felt the slight vibration, maybe I am not that insane…
