Iphone 3gs doesn't like to connect
Just like the title reads. I got an Iphone 3gs last week and this thing won't connect via bluetooth at all or even find the device with the MB bluetooth.
I know there were some Iphone topics here in the past and I apologize if this is a repost but I am guessing some of you have had the same issues and can help in this matter? Thanks!

Yep. I've paired and re-paired the thing and it can be a hassle. If you have ever paired it with the car then delete that on the phone and delete any old iPhone profiles on the car as well. Then all you can do is set the car to discover the device right after you have set the phone up to discover new devices.
1. I always go to settings>general>bluetooth and then turn bt off then on again.
2. Then I go to the settings on the MB screen and set it to look for devices.
3. Then I hold the iPhone near the nav screen.
4. I usually have to do this a few times.
There is a step between 3 and 4 and it involves using strong language and thinking about how cool it would be to throw the iPhone into the garage wall.![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
This always eventually works.

But my problem is that the wire (connection) in the glovebox don't work with 3gs why?

My iPhone 3GS paired the C63 at the first time...it works flawlessly. I have my G37 and TT paired onto my 3GS as well...I did not have to delete those profiles to have it worked with the C63.

No problem here. I paired both my Iphone and my wifes Iphone. With the bluetooth on both phones it will pair the first phone that gets in the car.

Should work fine. I would try reseting your iPhone. My dad works at Tafel Mercedes-Benz and he has a 2010 C300 and he too has a 3gs. Works fine for him and he can set them up in like less than thirty seconds. Shouldn't be a problem.
