However I need some feedback here. First off for a Palladium Silver car Matte Black or Piano Black? I think Matte would be a better choice. Second and the hardest part, offset configuration. I was thinking of going with 19" X 8.5" up front and 19" X 10" in the rear. My goal is to accomplish a "wide-track" look. How would I go about selecting the offsets now? What is the maximum you can go width wise without requiring fender roll? I take it the whole objective is to make sure you have the same clearance to clear the brakes as width the stock rims?
I work closely with Forgestar. I was at their offices on the 12/23/09, when I picked up my set of F10's for my E55. The offset is custom made for your vehicle. You have to select the correct tires as well to ensure perfect fitment, but the offset is spot on. Unless you specify something different, the offset will be just perfect.

I previously had a set of F14's and specified nothing in particular. The offset was such that it was flush and cause no rubbing. To date, the F14 is the most popular model for E55's...perhaps because nobody had done a set of F10's ...until now :P

As for the W204, there will be no fitment issues whatsoever. We do recommend certain tires over others due to the fact that some manufacturers and models are more squares and wider than their numbers call for, thus causing issues.

For a W204 AMG's only, 19x8.5 and 19x10 is not a problem.

As for the build quality, the wheels are flow formed, which are stronger and lighter than cast wheels, closing in the gap with forged wheels, but without the exorbitant price tag! It's the same technology used by BBS and Enkei, and is seen in use in Indy and F1 racing.

The price is $1,399 for the set of 4, plus shipping and taxes if in California.

If anyone is interested in the C63 forums, email me at sales@oneautosport.com

Wheels ordered now should be due to ship out by the end of January.

I verified. I'm sorry, my math was off. Your price is more than 2x your competitor's price.

You -> 12" x 48" (4 sq/ft) $65.00

Your competiton -> 48in x 12in (122cm x 30cm) ($29.99)

You got me on that one. I was looking at the larger quantities.

And for the others members looking at these posts, the prices aren't that off in the more popular sizes. You do pay for a product, but also for service. Some care, some don't. If you do care, you know where to go....

In the spirit of giving the members of MBworld THE BEST possible prices as I have stated before in my intro post as a sponsor, I will re-evaluate the prices to see what I can do. So don't despair people!

On a non AMG? Likely 18x9.5 in the rear, but I'll have to check on Monday for you. On the C63, you can do 10 in the rear.

Autosport,
Do you know if forgestar offers an option for chrome lips? I had polished lips before and I spent entirely too much time using aluminum polish.

You're talking about the F14F forged? I know what you mean about the polished lips, but being a 2 piece wheel, you unfortunately cannot get a chrome lip as it would mean chroming the entire barrel. I don't think you can get the option of a cleatcoat either. The upside of having a polished lip is that yes, you can polish it and it will shine like new (you can use mother's powerball to help you instead of using elbow grease), and if you ever curb your lips, you can always get them refinished by one of those mobile repairs. If you curb chrome lips, they're done and you need to dismantle the wheels and send out the lips to get them rechrome. Pros and Cons on both!

I am talking about the C63, 10s in the back is not problem, how about the front?

Also what tire sizes would 10 inches be?

Normally you wanna do 275/35/19. But I have to confirm with Forgestar. The gold F14 had Yokohama tires that are known to run bigger and wider than their size call for, so they wear more like 285's, thus causing clearance issues. So you have to make sure to get tires that fit right. I recommend Toyo T1-R tires personally.

I just checked their website for the f14,

18×8.5 +48 17.6 lbs or in metric 7.98kg
18×9.5 +48 19.4 lbs or in metric 8.80kg

I think the stock wheels are about 25 lbs, that's quite some savings for such a low price. How do they do it? And can you get a different center cap? I'm not digging the lion. Thanks.

yep that's quite a lot of weight saved! The secret? Flow Forming process. It allows for the reduction of weight, and the strengthening of the metal. And the price is such that it allows people who don't want to spend $5K on a set of wheels to get something that is light, strong and practical.

And yes, I can get you the carbon fiber centercaps, not a problem:

Any idea on what the offsets would be for 19"X8.5" and 19"X10"? I deally I want to fill those wheel wells to the fullest. What does everyone think of Matte Black for Palladium Silver? I think Gunmetal will not look right since it is to close to Palladium Silver. Definately like the carbon fiber center caps better as well.

The offsets are such that the wheels will be made to be flush with your fenders, without any clearance issues. You can see my set, you can see that gold set on the C63, and all of the others made, all done perfectly! Remember, the wheels are custom tailored to your vehicle, so you know you're gonna get the best offset possible!

I have a few orders I'm submitting to Forgestar this week, if any of you is ready to pull the trigger, send me an email at sales@oneautosport.com Thank you!
