Grand Prix legend Michael Schumacher has said "yes" to a Formula One comeback.
The 40-year-old has finally been persuaded to come to the rescue of car giant Mercedes, who gave him his Grand Prix break 19 years ago.
Mercedes came up with £125,000 to hand Schumacher, then an unknown, his F1 debut for Jordan at Spa in 1991.
Next season, he will fill the seat vacated by world champion Jenson Button's McLaren switch, as revealed by Mirror Sport.
And contrary to reports that the sport's most successful racer would be earning just £6million, the German will actually rake in the biggest salary in F1 next season, totalling nearly £20m.

YES!!! Very happy to hear that he is back again!! Plus not only that Mercedes Benz will be coming back to Formula One with factory car so very excited on this!! Silver Arrow car is back on the track with Schumacher and going to be a rival with McLaren!! Cant wait to see this silver arrow!!

Let's be honest thought. Ferrari > Benz for almost all aplications, real world or racing. I'm surprised he jump shipped. But then again German engine, German team, German org leader and a German driver. I see a pattern here

Why do you think he had a stiff neck last season when they asked him to replace Masa? He didnt want to look like Luca Badoer and drive that awful Ferrari F60.

This season is one for the ages.......SCHUMI against the kids, Hamilton, Alonso.....Button I dont feel like mentioning as he won the championship because of the car and the loop hole Brawn discovered earlier on last season while the rest of the teams were playing "catch-up"......regardless, the best driver of all time is coming back.....anyone on the forum planning to go to the Montreal F1 Grand Prix in June?? I will be there, maybe try to get a group together, that could be alot of fun, besides Montreal is one of the best cities in North America, thats only if you like women.
