Tire tread wear rating = ? Miles
I did search and I could not find the answers.
If I bought 300 tread wear rated rear tires. Whats the life expectancy with normal commuting and occasional spirited driving.
FYI, the stock tires lasted 7k for me. Does anyone know the tread rating on them?

2009 C63 with Eurocharged tune and charcoal delete
The treadwear rating is a relative comparison rating against a standard baseline of 100. It doesn't mean anything in terms of actual miles from one car to another. A tire with a treadwear rating of 340 might last 25K miles on a Honda S2000 but might only last 5K miles on the back of a C63. The OEM tires are rated 220.

I hear ya... at this point I'm willing to sacrifice a little performance for the sanity of not checking my rear tires on a monthly basis. Thanks fellas.
