Your killin' me by letting this one go...after all, it was great to know I had a twin out there burning rubber around Chi Town...I wish you the best, I know its a hard decision but you gotta do what you gotta do...are you sure you WANT to let this beauty go? It can be used as a DD, but you will lose a lot by trading it in. Only hope everything works out for you, let me know if I can help in any way.

If you know anyone who wants to pick up the lease, shoot, lemme know..and who knows, if all else fails, I might just end up getting stuck with it

If you go lease a 2010 C63 right now its more than 1100 a month...go ahead and try it. With his car you dont have to keep it as long (a big plus for lease people) and you pay zero down. If he throws in $3k you're looking at a payment in the mid 9's with zero down, more mileage than a standard lease and fewer months.
For someone who wants to lease a C63, taking over someone elses is MUCH wiser than getting it new.
And there are plenty of people doing just fine in this economy - we all bought C63's in the midst of the mess didnt we? I would say the demographic on this board, where he is advertising his car, is probably not doing too bad.
Dont mean to get in the middle of it but its nuts to see someone with so much motivation to see someone else fail that they chase them around a messageboard spreading incorrect information. Especially someone they dont even know over the internet.

I had previously tried to get rid of a leased car by assigning the lease. However, the leasing company did not agree to do so so I had to trade the car in. The dealer purchased the car from the leasing company and I paid the deficit between the purchase price and the trade price. It was not much so I was lucky in that regard. You may want to call your leasing company and find out how much it will cost to purchase the car outright prior to the end of the lease and then compare that to the value of the car. A small loss may be better in terms of hassles than assigning the lease.
Hope this was useful to you.

+++++1. Be helpful or criticize constructively, but dont bash on someone trying to put up an offer. It's a discussion and support board, not a witch hunt. You don't go into the GAP and go off on them saying no one would buy thier shirt...you just don't go in and buy...

(thanks for having my back taylor!)

....she does have a nice butt though..
