I'm what we in the biz call a "crowd pleaser."
On a semi serious note, I started look at wheels again and what not. I think I might just run some spacers and lower the car on H&R's for now. I want wheels bad, but I want to do it right. Truth be told, I don't have HRE money to throw at a set womp womp.
I just tried to get MPSS mounted up front as well. Keyword, tried. Normal shop, always have taken care of me (my 911tt, last c63, rs4, and x5) but for some reason things went south this time. Aside from them literally tearing a brand new MPSS trying to just mount the damn thing I've got some minor damage on the wheel now.
Not really sure where to go from here, but I am going to end up having to order a new front which irks me just a tad.

Yeah HRE pricing keeps rising, now that I'm looking to buy a house I doubt I will have extra funds for another set in the future.
Dang, sorry to hear about the wheels damage from mounting the PSS. How did ur shop ended up screwing a "routine" install? I mean it's not like u asked him to mount 285 on ur front 18x8 .

Operator error if you ask me. He did not have the tire in the low spot in the center of the wheel and used the tire machine to pull the tire so hard it broke. Damaged your rim in the process. I hope they are covering the wheel damage if not a new wheel. Sorry to see they let you down.

This place is also way out of the way for me, I just have had good experiences overall. I also don't really want to get into an argument with them, so when I go back next week I'll bring it up. If they tell me not their fault or that I probably curbed them (never parallel park, park next to curbs, etc) I'll just shut my mouth and fall off the radar. If they offer to fix it or compensate me then obviously I'll keep going. Mistakes happen.
Could I make an issue out of it? Probably. Is it worth it to me right now? No. Too much other stuff going on to really worry about some dumb wheel.

Dang sorry to see this, I would be furious.
Definitely operator error as Mort said. The wheel rash is bad.

Wow that's terrible to see it's the first time I see someone rip a new tire trying to mount it. Sorry you had to deal with this.
I just noticed I ordered rear PSS in 275/40R19 instead of 275/30R19. I'm thinking I should try to return these, 40 sidewall for the rear is too tall, do you have any input on that? Thanks

Thank you, yeah I figured they won't fit. Now have to go through a return through eBay what a pain... Should have looked better when I ordered. For some reason I missed the sidewall number.

Sticky as hell, and not sure I'd want them on a daily driver as they are a soft compound tire and used primarily for the track. Bad *** tire for sure.

I installed Michelin PSS all around on my C63 sedan. Fronts were 245/35-19 and rears were 265/30-19. Rears on 10 inch Forgestars and they fit perfectly. Fronts were 8.5 inch.

I've been looking around the forums and online in general and it seems we are kinda limited. I'm switching over from the JDM 5x114.3 which literaly has endless options.
I wanted 19x9 +35 squared on Rotiform SNA's but they have been discontinued😢. Essentially what I'm gathering is the W204 can accept a 19x8.5 +35ish up front and be flush? Is anyone running a 19x9.5 up front? I'm really trying to run a square setup for rotational purposes. If I can't I'm probably gonna run a 19x8.5 square and use some spacers in the rear to get it to fill out.
