Who did you order through? I ordered through Godfather. I am a bit worried since everyone on E90 post mentioned it was around 10 weeks while the vendors on E90 post quote 6.

Talk to Kevin at modbargains.com and tell him Karl from Montreal sent you. About delays well 6-8 weeks seems right, maybe in the peak season its longer I don't know.

Here is the weight of my F14 wheels:

Front 19X8.5: 23 pounds
Back 19X10: 25 pounds

This was done using a human scale, not an high end electronic one so I can't guarantee the accuracy. The wheels do feel very light.

Here is the official weight from modbargains.com:

19x8.5 Approx weight 22.5 lbs
19x10. Approx weight 24.7 lbs (site says 24.1 but I think they mixed up some numbers)

Both wheels are still lighter than the stock 18" (at 23.5/front and 25.0/back).

For 19" that's pretty impressive.

As a comparison the HRE P43 19x10 are 24.6 pounds and 6000$ per set!

Yeah I know Modbargains from e90 post. I already ordered through Oneautosport (second week of Jan) in an effort to support our board sponsors. I really hope I get mine in a week or two.
Thanks for weighing the wheels, looks like they are fairly light.

Thanks so much, cheif63. I can't wait to see photos!

Different offsets certainly impact final weight, since they remove back-padding to get to the final offset. Higher offsets should weigh the least.

I ordered my Gun Metal 18's today! (18x8.5 ET46, 18x9.5 ET55)

BTW, where did you get the stock weights? Did you also weigh them?

Thanks!

Good job on your order.

The stock wheel weight I found on the board if I'm correct. I remember that I searched for a long time =)

I don't even have my car yet (picking it up mid march) and I already have the wheels and a KW v3 suspension. I'll probably get them installed mi april after the break in period because I want to ride the car hard before I make the upgrades.

Thanks. I'm really looking to shave some weight.

I'm hoping the stock 18's are bit heavier. I remember Josh weighing his set when he upgraded to HRE 19's. His quote was 26lbs front and 26.5lbs rear w/o TPMS. (Post here -> https://mbworld.org/forums/3435781-post15.html)

I'm hoping he's right.

Good luck with everything!

I remember my stock 18s weighing around the same 26lbs front and back (also without tpms). The 19 AMGs were 27 and 29 I believe. I have it written down somewhere I can confirm later.

Thanks chubbs. It would make sense that the front weighs close to the rear. The lower offset up front certainly adds some weight.

Any pictures of the Vreds on the wheels? How did the 245/275 fit?

Just weighed a set of Vredestein UltraC Sessanta @

245/35-19 = 26 lbs
275/30-19 = 28 lbs

So fairly standard tire weights, maybe a little heavy.

My rims are still on the way but being delivered soon. I just wanted to know if these are going to fit the C63? I can't see that anything larger would fit based on the measurements I took in the wheel well.

From what you can tell is there any room for a larger tire? Unfortunately Vred does not have a 285 available, but there is a 295... I'm guessing that it just would not fit.

I wouldn't try larger than 275 w/out fender mods.

Just ordered the F14 in matte black, 040 black c63, 18 x 8.5/9.5 w/ hankook v12 in 245/275. I really need the extra grip w/ the K1.

So you went with 18" forgestar wheels which are much lighter, I was thinking about this but ended up going 19". Please post pictures so that I can see how they look in 18" as well.

Good stuff guys, just as a note, I had hesitated between 18s and 19s but found out that tires 275/18/30 were pretty much impossible to find so I decided to go with the 19s.

What you'll find is 275/18/35 but they will look a bit bubbly (thick).

I just ordered these yesterday... and I have a obs black car... lol

Anyway, talking with Forgestar over email, they say that 275 will not fit in the rear without serious fender mods. Designo posted some pics of a black on gold C63 and Forgestar has said they did some rolling and pulling to get the 275 to fit.

I want to go 245 / 275, but I think I will end up with 235 / 265 based on what Forgestar has said.

It is not the tire, it is the low offset of the F14 19x10 rear wheel that causes problems.

A 275 will fit perfectly on a wheel with the right width/offset.

What I was told was that the offset is setup to allow enough room on the inside for coil overs. The 19x10 +50 doesn't allow for a 275 tire. I wonder if they will make it a +54 so I can fit another 1 cm of tire as I doubt I will install coil overs.

True, they'll be thicker, but I much prefer this to the rubber band look of 19s. I think, just a theory, that the tire wear will be better 'cause I'll have more compliance with a slightly taller sidewall. I thought about 19s, but the 18s will track better, ride better, and I don't have to worry so much about cracking/bending a rim with the low sidewall.
